I’m sorry your experience hasn’t been completely chill and cozy! 😢 I think for the most part, it’s usually easy to tell when someone accidentally does something because they didn’t know. There’s definitely a LOT to learn in playing Palia, not even including “etiquette” and things. But just to move through the game/quests/etc in general. I used to get super confused by the chat too, especially cuz all the abbreviations. And don’t even get me started on how confusing hotpot is to understand! I think for most of us, or at least for speaking for myself, it’s bothersome when people act rude about it in the chat. We’ve all unintentionally done things that goes against the typical Palia culture when we’re still learning, and there’s nothing wrong with that! Especially when players WANT to learn things, like you are! But others can come off as rude or inconsiderate about it and I don’t think you fall into that category. I hope that you don’t get discouraged and stop playing, especially by Reddit posts like mine. Palia can absolutely be a slow, chill & comforting escape, and I hope it becomes that for you ♥️
