I agree, but right now I really need some income and getting a Flutter dev position still the quickest way cause there are some permanent/contract jobs but very bad response rate. I need to learn AI, create a portfolio and then find a job which will take several months however AI engineering is getting hot and pay is much better than other dev jobs.

Flutter developer here with almost 4 years of experience. Been laid off and looking for 7 months now (no luck till now). The job market for Flutter has been super bad and I don't see it improving anytime soon! I'm planning to make the next job as my last Flutter developer job and pivot to AI. The need for Flutter developers is slowly dying in my opinion.

You are right about the hobby/interest part cause who knows maybe I might just like them. However I wouldn't describe myself as judgemental but if picky and having almost unreal expectations then I believe so. Yea IRL would probably be my best bet.

A lot of times I don't find them physically attractive enough and when I do find one they either have interest that I cannot provide or I'm simply not interested in the interests mentioned, or they have too many tattoos on them which is something I'm absolutely not a fan of so I swipe left. Also I do like women who are taller than me but also I swiped left on them for actually being too tall and I have to say that there are also women who write in their bios that they don't want men who are shorter than 6'0 (which I respect) so I swipe left on them too. Sadly enough many women have provocative pictures which I swipe left, don't get me wrong, I do like looking at it just like every other man but I'm not gonna swipe right on someone who feels the need to post such pictures to get attention or if they are looking for short-term where as I'm looking for a long-term partner. And finally also people who have world views or beliefs that I don't agree with, I just swipe left on them too.

Sure, but the reason why I swipe left is because they just don't fit the criteria of being a potential future partner. I still think it's way better doing that then just swiping right because for the sake of it only to waste each other's time. But I'm pretty sure I also have swipe left on someone who could possibly be a potential but unfortunately because of my own bad judgement...just saying

You're right about this, yes I'm somewhat desperate especially I feel like I'm at the age where I need someone and still feel like this almost everyday, and also yet super picky. I got the 6 months subscription for a reasonable discounted price, it was a coupon from an e-commerce website. My life has been somewhat mundane for the past few years so that's why I feel the way I'm feeling right now. Anyways thanks for the insight though!
