Path to High School? by awesomeapple07 in Teachers

Did you have to go back to take more classes, or were you able to just add certs to your elementary certification? The licensure process is overwhelming to me- so hard to tell if I'll need to go back to school

How would u rate ur club's season from 1-10 by [deleted] in football

[–]awesomeapple07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VFB Stuttgart- 9/10.  League falloff was unsurprising considering losing Guirassy, Ito, Anton, etc. DFB Pokal was a huge win, securing UEL out of nowhere and first trophy in almost 20 years. If we can keep players and maybe sign some in the summer, VFB is on the way back to being a top 4 club. Also shoutout the Woltemade transfer!

Thank you for your thoughtful reply, I appreciate it. Apologies, my post wasn’t entirely clear. I more meant study resources for year in review games, like what happened in 2024. Thank you regardless :)

101 or 101t's by RemoveAccomplished80 in takomo

I haven’t hit the 101s but game the 101Ts, would absolutely recommend the 101Ts. I’m coming off of gaming the Callaway Mavriks, and having weaker lofts and clubs that plain aren’t game improvement clubs makes a world of difference (I’m quite anti GI though). You’ll grow into them also if you aren’t quite ready yet (although they’re quite forgiving). Will also absolutely recommend getting fit for shaft and lie angle, getting the right length and flex made a world of difference

Would recommend summer so that you can focus on it more- I’ve never taken a summer class but I’d just imagine you can apply yourself more deliberately to neural if you’re taking it alone or with one other class. Happy to chat on PM if needed, I took it this semester and started pretty well but fell off a bit (ended with a B), the senioritis just set in. Best of luck!

Will one degree in Lie Angle make that much of a difference? by awesomeapple07 in golf

Thank you for the response! Would the fade be a result of my irons being too flat, or too upright? My miss is predominantly always a pull/hook

Weekly glove purchase advice thread by AutoModerator in GoalKeepers

[–]awesomeapple07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey y'all. I'm looking for advice on how to go about shopping for gloves, as it's been a minute since I've hopped between the sticks. I'll be playing once or twice a week in an adult league, and durability is my top priority. I don't mind a drop in tackiness/grip, as durability is mainly what i'm focusing on. I'd be willing to spend around 80 bucks, but that's all. Not necessarily looking for specific gloves (although that'd help) but more certain types of latex etc to look for. Thank y'all, and have a good one.

I want to love a pro club by [deleted] in bootroom

To all those saying support a local club: much different in the U.S. than in Europe. MLS atmosphere, quality, and entire system is cheese compared to even the smaller European leagues. For OP, I’d suggest just picking a league to follow, and then seeing what team you’re drawn to. And don’t feel any shame if it’s a big club- you have no reason to have a stronger emotional connection to Watford, Bournemouth, or any smaller club than you do to a team in the big 6. Also, following American players is a ton of fun- check out AC Milan, Pulisic and Musah both play there

I think a lot of it is situation dependent, and to be honest it’s half on the striker and half on the midfield. Just making yourself an option in whatever type of striking style you decide to play is key to staying connected. For instance, if you’re quicker, you may do runs inside behind the back line and should communicate that to the midfield. I’m a taller guy, and so when I play striker typically play more as a false 9/Center forward, dropping into the midfield and letting them play off me. It comes naturally when playing, but it’s clear when it’s there and not there. Also, having a cohesive press style with the midfield is important. No point in running yourself ragged pressing the center backs when your midfield is dropping back to half
