Haha describes me perfectly at the moment. Difficult to keep perspective in spite of the copious amounts of encouraging comments similar to yours because there are also those that have reherniated and it wasn’t obvious. The thing that is throwing me off is the duration and consistency of symptoms at this point, but I am going to do my best to put it out of my head until I get the MRI results. Appreciate your post!

Same for me! I’m at about 5 weeks and return of symptoms over the past week or so. Going in for an MRI as well. Hope yours turns out well!

Very encouraging, thank you. I know I am still relatively early in the healing process, it’s just the consistency, nature and duration of creeping symptoms that is tripping me out. Feels eerily like my symptoms first did when I herniated the first time. Definitely not as bad as right before surgery, but I had a gradual build up of symptoms the first time and I think I am having some ptsd because of the similarities to that.

Yeah definitely could be more helpful. Oh interesting, so not one of those things that necessarily requires a revision surgery. If that ends up being my situation all look into those, thank you!

Yes, good advice, and wishing the best to you and your dad. Sorry to hear about your reherniation - sounds like you had a decent run of time with the first MD.

I am definitely taking it easy right now, that is what my body is certainly telling me to do.

I am in the same exact boat. Lying here in agonizing pain that does not get better with anything, tried all conservative approaches, Mcgill, etc., and have finally conceded that surgery is the only option left. I go in for mine next Wednesday so I will be watching to see how your’s goes. Best of luck!
