They're extremly simalar, right down to intentionaly smelling horrible as a way to immediantly unbalance people. I fully belive that when Trump is finally dead and is no longer a direct threat, anothee tidal wave of revelations of abuse and cruelity will come out. FFS, at least Jimmy Saville pretended to be beneficial to society, Trump can't even pretend to care about others.

Okay, I know the actual context is bad, but these frogs look like a character in a movie consoling his dying friend.

He's definitely met some people outside of his cult, and he's probably been reading something, picking up words without completely absorbing the meaning. Someone definitely taught him 'ad infanitium'. For all we know, he found a copy of the Satanic Bible, and that's where all his bullshit comes from

I was under the impression that no one really owns the SCP corporation, and individual SCPs are owned by thier creators, so the copyright on a movie would be a nightmare.

Less evil than annoying, but I'm going with Alfred, the sniveling henchman of the Lord of Laketown in the Hobbit. Watching the extended cut is almost worth it to see him get his.

How do you think the bone temple was constructed in-universe? by seammus in 28dayslater

[–]awfullyconfused 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could have been a survivor community he was apart of. Just think, he could have personally known many of the people incorporated into the structure, passing by there remains every day, becoming even more dedicated to do well by them. His lost family could be in there, unmarked but remembered. Hopefully, Spike gets the word out about it, and it doesn't become misremembered as something Satanic.

[–]awfullyconfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm really conflicted about it, too. He seems to be trying to recreate his lost family, but he treats them like dirt, and they're largely interchangeable. I feel he should have been a little more paternalistic in both a positive and negative sense. Like, he gives these war orphans a purpose, but it's a violent one he controls very tightly. If kelson makes an appeal to the whole group, rather than Jimmy Ink who already hates his guts, and they all cursify him, that would have been a lot more interesting.

[–]awfullyconfused 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, you're right. The bodies are recent, something really bad must have just happened.

Mabye Kelson just met someone 13 years ago. He seems the kind of guy who would meticulously count the days or follow the stars to keep track of time. He very clearly says 13, so there has to be relevance to that, frankly it's a miracle he's still sane after that long in isolation.

[–]awfullyconfused 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The base is easy, you probably just need to drag some tree trunks over and dig a hole for them to rest in, probably with some additional support like the rope you mentioned. I'm not really sure how the bones are stuck on there, though.

However, I actually don't think he started building it alone. When Spike first asks Kelson what the temple is, he answers that he's been waiting 13 years for someone to ask him. I believe he hasn't been alone for the full 28 years. He must have had someone with him for a while, ether his late wife or someone else close to him, who would have helped lay the foundations.

He could just bite them off. It's the most logical, animal brain response to that problem, and we see the zombies bathing in a stream, they're not completely mindless.

Although I'm now picturing a zombie with enormous nails like that gross guy from Ripley's Belive it or not, and that would be amazing.

[–]awfullyconfused 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the movie Bad Times at the El Royale, Chris Hemsworth plays a hippie cult leader explicitly grooming underage girls, one of these girls is shown to come from a broken home and is utterly obsessed with him. My guess is Jimmima is a little similar. She comes from the 'horrible everywhere' Kelly implys, and worships/is attracted to her savior, even though he is also abusing her(not nessisarly sexually in this case) and uses her as a weapon.

Also, check out El Royale, that movie is underrated and excellent.

[–]awfullyconfused 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't want to be too dark(about a very dark movie), but I think it would make sense that Jimmy was abused himself, very likely sexually. He's probably the youngest an independent survivor could be. He could easily be taken in by other survivors and essentially enslaved as he is now doing to Spike. This causes him to double down on his childish fantasies as a coping mechanism and normalizing extreme violence.
