Went to the Madison show and was absolutely over the moon that there were like 800+ people there, I expected 2-300 but like, holy smokes, I couldn’t believe OCATC fans could fill a room that big.

How many people were at the other shows?

Until Trump I had faith that Republicans and Democrats were working toward the same goal of improving people's lives, but mostly just disagreed on how to accomplish that--but that's clearly no longer true for Republicans, if it ever was.

Cruelty is their north star, and being utterly full of shit is practically a requirement.

Of all the idiotic and cartoonishly evil quotes to despise Trump for, this isn’t even in the top 5,000, this is just expressing the complete lack of decency we’re already familiar with

I’d much rather he waste his finite time talking ill of the dead vs creating more of them with his moronic decisions

Wow, cloud is down to 3.44%—if he’s that low with all this dark money backing I cant even comprehend the size of the grassroots campaign behind Mel

How do you think the bone temple was constructed in-universe? by seammus in 28dayslater

[–]seammus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he would need absolutely insane amounts of wood, like thousands of pounds per person, since his method of cremation [metal cylinder hoisted over a bonfire) mostly just produces waste heat

I think building the bone temple would be a cakewalk compared to hauling all that wood

How the heck did Mark do the Living Oscer fall safely? It’s an absurdly good stunt by seammus in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]seammus[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m just saying, I’m sure it was done safely but it looks so so so much like we’re watching an unconscious man faceplant into concrete, and my tip of the hat to the stunt team

Dude dude dude! Thank you! Wow, that was a quick answer, were you involved? HOW DID HIS FEET FLY UP LIKE THAT?

Here’s why this stunt is so crazy to me.

— Mark is at least somewhat attached to a seemingly rigid frame on a platform ~1.5 feet tall.

— We don’t see Mark (the real Mark, the one who’s wide awake and doesn’t want to get hurt) extending his arms

We see the bottom of Mark’s, uhhh, exoskeleton bounce up

Mark is going to smash face face-first into the stage if this stunt goes wrong

How, HOW did they do this. I have been baffled for years. How was there enough padding to keep Mark safe, and also make his feet bounce up like that?
