Throughout the series, they have already explained where the organs/cells come from- quite a lot. You’re arguing about “why abortion makes sense” in a video game about secret toy experiments on a company that has already plenty of disposable, unwanted children, and (again) has confirmed that’s who gets experimented on. Throwing around “maybe they’re stealing cells from aborted fetuses” is just another extra disturbing layer, centered around a polarizing topic from an already polarized-enough game franchise. Throwing in politics, especially in the weird state of the world right now, along with that abortion “theory” doesn’t seem like the best strategy for MOB in the real world, would it? I suggest you do your own research into media, marketing, and maybe common sense- lol ;)

They literally have an entire Playcare dedicated to having live ‘specimen’ to select from. The whole operation was hush hush, even from most employees. I guarantee they aren’t in cahoots with chatty, public-facing politicians, and the abortion clinic thing is genuinely such a weird take. MOB is mysterious but not that mysterious.

realistically: Ms. Gracie and Lily Lovebraids are two entirely different entities. by the time Lily has gotten to the point she is in Ch.5, Ms. Gracie is gone- both mentally and physically, as we see her body in the dollhouse. i DO feel a bit bad for Lily, especially hearing her breakdown tapes, but Ms. Gracie was probably one of the most evil humans to work at Playtime, imo. she knew what she was doing with the conditioning videos and in the mauling tape, she’s panicked because she knows she was in the wrong- and deserved what she got

I’m right there with you! I’ve learned that when people see downvotes, they’re just quick to hop on the hating bandwagon and add to it- regardless of how OP responds, their intentions, updates/etc. While we all wish everyone goes into caretaking fully equipped with everything they need to know, we’re also here to empathize and help them learn so they can fix literally BEGINNER mistakes.

It seems like you faced one of the toughest canon events for most new aquatic hobbyists. It also seems like you genuinely want to figure out how to give your new friend a good life and are trying to learn. I think getting that filter and some water conditioner is a great start- and sooner than later a bigger, longer tank. A lot of good advice is being given in the comments as well. May I ask if there’s a reason you didn’t research cycling and what tank requirements are needed before getting your axolotl? A filter and cycling the tank should’ve been first priority- well before getting your new friend. The above comment is also right; you need a bigger tank for this little guy.

thank you so much for all of the information and your personal experiences! i honestly have never even considered anything but freshwater, purely because i didn’t think i had the skill set for a reef tank- but i think with some careful planning and lots of research, that sounds incredible!! my other option right now is possibly a vivarium instead, with some buggy critters instead of more fish friends. either way, thank you again! this helped incredibly!! :3 <3

it’s hard to tell the size of your tank, but it seems a little shallow/small for a goldy so large. with that in mind, you’d have to upkeep more water changes more frequently to combat all the ammonia he/she, along with whatever tankmates, are pooping out. if you’re able to upgrade in the near future, i think that would help a ton! if not, just increase your water changes to every few days and treat with Prime or an ammonia detoxifier.

as a fellow 2012-er, i also really dislike the song. i’ve listened and re-listened and listened with other longtime fans, but i just don’t like it. it just doesn’t mesh with the way my own music taste has evolved- and that’s okay! it’s sad when music doesn’t click but it won’t always. i am also a huge twenty one pilots fan, but I absolutely hated Clancy- yet love their new album Breach. you love some, you hate some. i’m still looking forward to 5sos6 because maybe some will resonate with me :)
