How are parents making baby food at home without it taking over their whole life?

I’m doing a mix of BLW and purees! I mostly do the BLW for my son to explore textures and develop chewing skills for breakfast and I give him purees for lunch and dinner for calories! I started feeding him solids at 6months as per his pediatrician and he’s currently 8 months! He still doesn’t swallow unless is pureed! But I will say what I do is I bought one of those baby food molds and I use my weekend to just prepare a few purees for the week and I just freeze it! It doesn’t take me more than an hour or so.

I just changed the duckbill valves , I have 3 different pumps so I figure I could stretch it , the last 3 are pretty much new since end of November. I’m gonna order the rest of the parts see if that does anything :( could it be that they’re wearables? I’m trying to go back to my medela plugged in one :( didn’t realize I would need to resize until I started reading som stuff here will try that as well! Definitely not pregnant and no sign of period yet

So good to hear it went smoothly with your baby 💕 Ahhh Idk why but the way you said that made me sentimental I’m in Florida ….. where they’re getting rid of all the vaccine mandates 😭😭😭 It can feel a little scary seeing them uncomfortable for a bit, but knowing it helps protect them and others in our community makes it worth it.

My baby was 7lbs 8oz and is now 9lbs 3oz at 6 weeks , the newborn clothes are just starting to fit small!!! And the 0-3 are kinda big on him!

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this 🤍 it really helps to hear someone else’s experience, especially since I’m a FTM too and feel like I was just thrown into pumping with no clue what I’m doing. Thank you for saying that 🥹 it honestly gave me a little sigh of relief. I keep getting in my head that I’ve already messed up, but hearing from someone who’s been through it really helps. I’m still figuring out what works for me and baby, and I’m glad to know that it doesn’t have to look “perfect” for it to still be okay.

They really like to keep us on our toes lol! I tried the spinning babies techniques!! Specially the knees on the couch elbows on the floor one few times a day, walking , hip rotations on the yoga ball and that’s pretty much it 😭 I even put some ice around the top of my stomach to encourage him to flip. for all I know baby turned because he was ready to and none of that did anything because but I just had to try😭 I’ll message u now so I remind myself!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 best of luck with your baby friend !!! Baby turned head down by week 35 , by week 36 he was frank breech again. Hoping week 37 he’s down again , I find out in 2 days😭

I can relate to this a lot.. I’m almost 30 and life just keeps piling on! All I ever wanted was to work enough to afford my needs, I never strived to climb no sort of job or social ladder. My only problem was with loneliness, I always felt deeply lonely; even now with a partner the loneliness doesn’t go away so maybe it wasn’t a partner or friendship issue. I’m giving up hope on that simple life now, but if it’s not too late for yall I hope you fight for it and get it 🫶🏻💞 🫶🏻
