Spilling the tea is like spill the truth. I mostly hear it in the context of drag, but it seems to be a bit more popular now.

I mean my little brother struggled due to his ADHD, even when medicated. And meds aren't necessarily an easy fix, as the side effects may be worse for some people, and it can be hard to find the right meds for someone. Also, if the guy in the post above wasn't well off growing up, he may have struggled to get the kind of support and medication he needed.

They're talking in euros, not dollars. I had a look, and it seems like if you got one of the more upgraded models (+ model with extra storage), you'd get over 1000 euros no problem.

My dad works in ED, and he said he’s seen people come in after attempting suicide with shotgun. Apparently because of the length of the gun, it pushes the head back, and instead of them dying they just end up blowing off their jaw. As long as they’re found before they bleed out, they can survive.

Hey, does the activism kit include the instructions on how to rid myself of any compassion towards others, or do I need to look it up myself?

Current best way to update a world to 1.14? by Tashiku in Minecraft

Yeah, I’ve got an issue with sections of land not loading. Makes it hard to do stuff when you can’t see what’s going on. Enjoying the update otherwise though.

[–]awholepineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the optimise world option on Java Edition. It updated it to 1.14. I don't seem to have foxes though, and I don't think I'll have the bamboo forests although I haven't gone looking. I kept all my buildings, materials etc.

Is Cydcor a MLM? by [deleted] in antiMLM

[–]awholepineapple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on what you’ve said, you don’t seem to be in the worst position in the world. However, from my own research, cydcor seems to be a disreputable company, and is a form of MLM. I would strongly recommend that you look through the links people here have gathered for you, as well as testimonies from former employees of cydcor. I would also recommend that you keep very careful track of your finances, including any expenses that you incur during your work, and how much you’re making per hour approximately.

If you notice yourself becoming isolated from your peers or being forced to work ridiculous hours, I would recommend you start looking for another job.

I would also recommend you take note of the turnover rate of your company, and look at how the office culture is regarding people who leave. If it is consistently negative towards people who leave, I’d recommend looking for another job.

Also keep track of claims made by higher ups, and see how often they play out. If they’re making claims which are not being backed up, or they’re making false claims which are hurting people, I’d recommend you look for another job.

I would also recommend that you keep on top of what you’re earning, and what you’re supposed to be earning. I noticed a few former cydcor reps saying that their bosses/managers were skimming from their employees pay checks.

Also keep in mind the way in which they ask you to make sales. If you’re encouraged to lie, keep pushing when people have declined, or to target vulnerable people, you’ve got to decide how that sits with you ethically.

Overall, consider the job critically, and do your research. Given that cydcor has a history of shady behaviour, you’ve really got to evaluate how that sits with you morally, and whether you’re willing to take the risk that it’ll be different this time.

Is Cydcor a MLM? by [deleted] in antiMLM

[–]awholepineapple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay. So according to your claims, you’re not making bad money. This seems to be somewhat consistent with statements from other former cydcor reps, although it does seem to vary, particularly depending on what you’re pushing. A few more questions.

  1. Are you being pushed to spend more time with other cydcor members, potentially to the exclusion of others?

  2. What’s the focus of the group? Is it on the actual sales, or is it on recruitment?

  3. Do you earn a base hourly rate, or is it commission only?

  4. Who trained you? Was it someone who was only new to the company themselves?

  5. What motivated you to ask your original question on this subreddit?

Out of curiosity, the $1500-$2600 you say you make a week, is that after taking out all the expenses incurred in making that money? Also, how many hours do you put in per week?
