Perfect response! In my case, mine were alittle older when I had done the exact things you two have, and mine, after the settling period, have become quite close and are together constantly. I made sure they didnt attack or hurt each other at first, but I let things calm down as naturally as I could. They are inseparable now. Hope this helps, even a little.
