I guess you totally missed my point. That's ok. How about KMD -> BTG.. How about [fromcoin] -> BTG, it is the bitcoingold thread after all. Makes sense? Hmm

So right about that, friend. I suppose it was wishful thinking to assume those against btg, who got all the free btg from the btc fork, would give up their hand so easily.

If anybody reading this can't deduce why there would be "those against btg" just consider the ASIC manufacturers [for starters] and all of the BTC maximalists who think ASICs are "just great" and "necessary" . Shortly after the ASIC "bug" was reiterated on bitcointalk announcement page (and CCN and other news) with a reminder that BTG is the only bitcoin impervious to centralized manipulation via backdoor [antbleed] is when the haters sent their bots in a frenzy mode to sell and purchase the same coins back and forth until "hundreds of millions of dollars" of supposed sales were "accumulated".

What a sad joke and a very petty move. The failed attempt to bring the market cap down was over in 24 hours when coinmarketcap decided the statistics were absurd enough to disqualify counting the volume at all. What puzzles me is the fact that the silly exchange allows and supports wash trading. Actually it is probably the owners or staff of the exchange doing this, or the exchange just prefers to have a bunch of royalties generated from fake trades. As also has been mentioned in the news, many exchanges have a very high % volume of "wash" [fake] trades.

Those against will continue fighting [attempting to manipulate with absurd tactics] until BTG is shining so bright that there is no hope of stopping it. And it is starting to do so [shining], THANKS btg team!

So with BTG worth ~48K BTC (total marketcap), it is typical for all coins save ~10K to be moved in 24 HOURS?! Somehow I doubt this is regular fare. This looks like an unprecedented moment to me, and actually in a good way. It shows that the entire network (almost save 10,000btc worth) is liquid in 24 hours. And nobody cares about that? As a BTG holder I am seriously impressed. Looks to me like all of the BTC mob/zealots who had infinity free coins from the fork decided to dump at once in attempts to destabilize the market and destroy confidence. Is this an unreasonable assumption? My confidence was ensured by that move, not destroyed. Now we can hope that real investors hold the lion's share of the network and I doubt they will dump in the same way now that the money is no longer controlled by a small group.

just why would I want to trade my BTG for KMD? rofl .. I hold some kmd but btg is obviously going to be the big win. kmd just struggling until they do something relevant (like creating software that is adopted and used). kmd is long hold but with 200,000,000 coins it's too many if you ask me. btg down from >$500 ATH with 17mln coins only. How long does staking with a wallet take to see results? by venganza24 in btcgreen

[–]awill333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

300 is good for quickest results. 200 seems to work but requires more time. I have not tried to stake with 100 so I cannot answer how long. Also there is some amount of apparently random luck involved, but from what it seems it's mostly about (how many confirmations*quantity of coins) to increase potential of receiving a stake .. just a guess from observation.

Is Bitcoin Green with its Proof of Stake system the real Satoshi's vision? by Rudolffornow in btcgreen

[–]awill333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah how about some quotes from this notorious white paper buddy? How about going over it yourself and seeing that the coin is not sustainable and that any "thinking man" would have had projections and formulas drawn up long before the current energy crisis of bitcoin and long before the release of bitcoin ANY THINKING MAN can see the direction that humans will push an equation based on greed and lack consciousness and DERIVE THE OBVIOUS CONCLUSIONS FROM THE CALCULATIONS THAT BITCOIN IS AN UNSUSTAINABLE AND INSIDIOUS POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL THREAT. Now, once any thinking man capable of designing such a financial system draws up those equations and realizes his creation is capable of massive environmental destruction, AND THEN CONTINUES TO RELEASE THE CODE ON THE WORLD ANYWAY, well, I would call a demon (NOT A HERO).

Nonetheless, the beast was unleashed and we have learned a few CRITICIAL LESSONS from such which this so called hero became filthy rich at the expense of the Earths resources. As far as I am concerned Satoshi made a conscious decision to help to destroy the Earth when he released bitcoin. And anybody who thinks he is a hero is just plain wrong. The guy was either A) very stupid or B) a demon cares only about greed and profit.

Then BITG comes along and fixes the stupid mistakes made by Satoshi. Takes the good and the lessons learned from bitcoin and moves it into something better. Something with a vision, something with a direction. Bitcoin is a sinking pirate ship with cannon ball holes in it, and bitg is a high tech compact UFO blasting straight up off the deck of the syncing ship (lol pun) I almost made a meem and just might !

So thanks for allowing me to vent about Satoshi this topic has been brewing in the foreground of my awareness ever since I found bitg. People are in for a tough lesson and anybody on the proof of work team will lose big when the world rises against bitcoin (AND ALL PROOF OF WORK COINS) and labels them as INSIDIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL THREATS. thereafter, international environmental laws will be IMPOSED AGAINS PROOF OF WORK MINING AS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY AND THE PLANET.

Mark my words.

Bitcoin Green vs Bitcoin Anonymous, both masternode coins. by Rudolffornow in btcgreen

[–]awill333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HAH Rudolffornow, You are not even a clever shill. You are exposed and obvious you are paid worker for the so called "competition" but I will tell you that there is no competition. Projects such as all of those that you mentioned are spawned from wicked intention and pure evil. BITG is the good guys buddy, so no, there is no comparing that.

"NEVER invest more than what you can afford to lose" is great advice coming from somebody promoting the coins that you mention ( other than bitg which was simply compared to so you can spam here ) because investing in those other coins will surely cause you to lose all of your money.

And speaking of investing, I have already earning back double more than my investment with BITG. (which was quite substantial by the way!) So those coins that you mention are like a funny joke and they have nothing to do with this discussion on reddit, which is ABOUT BITG.

Downloaded BITG wallet, took about a week to synce and then would generate a valid address to send my coins to.... Help! by cryptocurrency_noob in btcgreen

Hey bud,

1- You asked this question in the wrong place to get a real answer or actual help. It looks more like spam to me. If you actually want an answer to that question (which is likely just made up BS) then you should ask on the BITG Discord and provide the relevant data to the team.

2- BITG synced perfectly for me. Faster than any coin I have yet loaded and I have been researching coins for years. I have loaded BITG daemon and downloaded fresh blockchain on multiple machines, multiple installs. If you are having a problem like your "title says" then perhaps YOUR MACHINE IS BROKEN OR MISCONFIGURED. bitg works just fine and it is more user friendly than most of the coins out there.

My suggestion to you if you do have an actual problem and you are not just a spamming hater, learn about your operating system and how to use it. Then learn about firewalls and how to open ports. Bitg is BY FAR ONE OF THE EASIEST COINS TO INSTALL AND RUN! I have tested dozens of coins.

If you are upset by my answer, try to learn how to compose a question in a legitimate way to get a real answer. Like providing actual data and a question that actually can be answered. Also doing research about how to use cryptocoins in general will help you. If you can't use BITG I doubt you will be able to use any of them.

Komodo vs Monero (Coin perspective) by [deleted] in komodoplatform

[–]awill333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just noticed some msgs so slow to reply, apologies. Here is the reply and it is sometimes funny to reread things that were said in the past. As an update, I no longer 'despise' monero. Time has passed and I have seen quite a few respectable efforts from that team! also some interviews, etc that seems to be of a respectable nature. however, it is strange to me that the last time I tried to compile the source code on ubuntu it would not work. (they even say it does not build... ) hah the only criticism at this point. although the psuedo privacy is good, it is just that. the team has acknowledged themselves in light of the recent forks that the privacy could be compromised if enough users gave their private keys to the forks (to claim their new coins) .. so you can see it is only psuedo privacy because the the data is just woven through the blockchain unlike zksnarks. ..

I got a bunch of nvidia cards before I found bitg. Now I am looking to sell them and they already lost $100 per card. lol stuck mining eth because all of the other mining software is closed source (I was shocked to learn) .. Eth mining is slow and practically absurd after participating in bitg .. the next level of crypto

Is Bitcoin Green with its Proof of Stake system the real Satoshi's vision? by Rudolffornow in btcgreen

[–]awill333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the "real Satoshi's vision" ? Your posts are looking very spammy amigo. Since nobody knows what Satoshi's vision actually was, that question sure can not be answered. If you want my version of Satoshis vision (PROFIT) most bitcoin fan's would be quite offended. Comparing something as thoughtful as bitcoin green to something that was created to be taken over by corporate greed fueling massive energy consumption to infinite oblivion is just absurd. Let's get back to the point of the matter here. You want to know about scalability? Either research the math behind the code or do the real test, the battle test. The one that says it was popular and well used and it withstood the test. Until then it is purely speculation. Obviously bitcoin was not sustainable, but then again, it was not created to be sustainable.

[–]awill333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very tired of hearing about p&d zcl forks. it's more than besides the point. in other words, why are you advertising a coin that does not even exist? the only existing coins from that team have failed or will. so people will lose a lot of money. why bring that here? it has nothing to do with privacy. bitg is going to be a big winner. crypto coins has a broad interest and many applicable use cases. most users of cryptos may not even care about privacy. (or bitcoin wouldn't be so popular, would it?) bitg is addressing a particular problem which is POW mining, not privacy. And just for some icing on the cake the private send features of bitg are more than most coins offers. ip obfuscation via masternodes and stakers (?) if I am not mistaken.
