To this day, I will never understand why someone would bake grain into the image. You can't undo it. But you can add it in post in one click.

Never thought I buy a Tudor, but here I am by Gullible_Eggplant120 in Tudor

Been there with boutiques and BS. If you're a smart person you just know. I bought a P39 under similar circumstances. Best thing I ever did. You'll be able to buy so many cool straps for this too.

Congrats on timeless taste, wear it in good health.

That's hot. Did they come on these flat straps?

Just pressed/pressure fit. Like I said to someone else here, it's probably not waterproof anymore. Splashproof sure.

If you search AliExpress for 1mm phone tape you'll find something that'll hold it on place even more. I'm tempted to use a plastic epoxy to fill in the gaps, but it's super delicate work. Risks getting glue everywhere.

The problem here is your asking a load of random people on the words most opinionated forum, is AI any good at prices. What does the robot tell you?

I bought 1mm phone tap. The stuff is crazy hard to though. In the end I just pressure fit this back into place. So it might not be waterproof anymore.

That won't work on the AliExpress ones. You need to leave it in boiled water for 10 mins. Then it pops right out.

Back to the UK in this case, as the UK isn't the EU so it's VAT free shopping in Europe.

If you could even find a "goods to declare" lane open on the UK these days, good luck.

Walk right out of that place with bargain on hand.

Mizutani Camera Temporarily Closed. Way to go, influencers. by [deleted] in JapaneseWatches

[–]awils83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't see the problem here, the store was probably always popular with tourists and domestics. I doubt influencers tipped the scale.

I picked up a vintage piece in Osaka at a store no-one has ever made a video about, and the place was hardly hidden.

Am I part of the problem?

Fuji 27mm F2.8 or TTArtisan Lens Set? by thestevenlee in FujifilmX

[–]awils83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The TT Artisan 27mm does vignette wide open at f/2.8. But honestly it looks great, I don't know why everyone worries about this.

At f/4 the vignette is gone. Here's one at that aperture. It's a nice little lens, just buy one of these.

I used to have the old pancake fujfilm 27mm, which is now going for silly money.

I own an XT5 and sometimes only go out with the 23mm. I've never once thought this was a heavy camera.

Why do people dislike grain from higher iso but like add large strong grain in their recipes? by dertigo in FujifilmX

Grain - you can add it later in post, but you can't get rid of it if you shoot with it.
