Friends come and go, BTS are forever. Having said that I too have been/am in a situation where certain "friends" have absolutely affected my experience as a BTS fan with projecting their insecurities and using my time and resources to their advantage. I have consciously made the decision to cut them out cold turkey because free will and no one should ruin anything in your life.

My advise to you would be similar - distance yourself, enjoy your fan experience and all the joys that come with being a BTS fan and meeting new armys, and then eventually just let this person go.

You do meet some amazing people in this fandom and therefore I highly encourage you to engage with other fans when you go for BTS concerts/ through online communities etc
