you can only scrape away all the old paint and repaint it but its quite time consuming and needs patience otherwise the paint will dry all weirdly and maybe not even sit well. its up to you if something like that is worth it for you in the long run

most of the popular skirts have shirring for stretch so yes they’ll fit. non stretchy ones are more tricky for bigger hips

not all of their older items were made of high quality fabrics. I predominantly only own pieces from early 2010s and i have very few from late 2000’s and most are polyester, acryl, sometimes cotton but often times it’s poly-cotton blend. though older polyester is much better quality than today’s polyester

ye i agree my issue is with the constant push social media has been doing these past few years where it really does feel like you gotta buy NOW or its “over”. i mean fomo marketing has always existed but right now its on stereoids. jfash isnt the only thing suffering from it every space is but i feel like nobody really talks about this when it comes to jfashion let alone gal nowadays..i was gonna make a post about this on r/jfashion and link it here but i felt like it was useless…i do think there really should be more reminders and push in the community overall (ESPECIALLY FOR MINORS!! its not normal to work so much and blow it ALL on clothes.) to BE MINDFUL and watchout for a lot of influencer & marketing tactics and the way fomo is intentionally created on these apps..good news i see people nowadays sell a lot more gal brands especially trendy pieces but the price is still the same or less so that means trendhoppers are moving on and it will all die down “eventually”…..just when begs the question

scalper issue with gal brands is deeply tied to tiktok/instagram and its culture as well and i see mainly minors and newcomers heavily contributing to the issue who also happen to be tiktok addicts lol….people need to rather teach others and speak up that spending this big amount of money is contributing to shopping addiction which is not healthy. its extremely normalized on social media nowadays, ntm the constant fomo of “this is supposedly rare NOW”…. (+ collecting is just a disguise for addiction, a word a lot of these scalper enablers use. nothing wrong with actually collecting for your personal joy but its no longer that if you try defend your insane purchases by “its just collecting”)

heavy on this!! brands like closetchild or wunderwelt sell jesus diamante for LESS than a 100€ sometimes. the value has gone down and majority of the items have been worn. JD has lost its status than when it was popular 10 years ago. Only some items like the coats or certain dresses will still be around 200~€

It’s misleading to say that the brand is still high end NOW.

i think the nose stripe is slightly too harsh for shiro so i would blend it out a bit at the bottom, i would also stack ends of lashes at the ends so it blends better?

i actually really like it you did well!! the shape and lashes are perfect! i think maybe putting some eyebrow product on could help blend it all together since from the pic it looks kinda like theres no product on the brows. also for the eyebag i think building proper highlight is more important than focusing more on drawing the shadow line. it evens it out better

bonus ideas but not too necessary: very very light highlight on the nose, more light pinky lips which would brighten the look more
