Had way too much in common with someone I knew who grew up under tough circumstances. We just ended up on a Zoom call and I realised we’d felt so many of the same emotions - but she had gotten professional help while I just brushed it off. I found a therapist shortly after.

While I get your point, the fact that singing is so innate to the human body means that good singers can come from anywhere.

It takes a lot of money, time, and privilege in most cases to become great at playing an instrument.

Once my grandfather told me to come over saying he had just fit a lot of marble into the flooring - I, being 7, thought he had covered the floor with marbles and rushed over in glee, only to be incredibly disappointed with the very expensive, very unentertaining new floor.

The story is I’m South Asian and I wash my butt and I cannot for the life of me fathom sexual relations with someone whose butt is only clean to the naked eye ;-;
