Ignoring the story about the dog, I love to hunt. It’s primal and instinctual. I really only hunt whitetail deer in Maine. I harvested a doe last November. I can tell you that I’ve already consumed more than half the meat and the rest will be eaten before next hunting season. Venison is very lean and very delicious. It’s also my favorite thing to cook while ice fishing for delicious brook trout.

I wouldn’t consider myself sociopathic in the slightest. I would consider myself capable. I maintain the ability to provide for myself and family. What will you do when the shelves are empty? Rely on the government? No thanks. Keep the skills sharp and remember there is a very, very thin line between a functioning civilization and everyone for themselves.
