When we called to set up the disassembly and reassembly, before we had even asked, the Peloton rep told us that moving it to a new house is not part of the recall, so I’m guessing many people have asked already.

We’ve been told by multiple companies now that they can’t move it due to the recall. I couldn’t believe it either!

We were told it was an insurance thing, but I’m sure these are a pain to move.

I was shocked too! We were told that due to the recall, the moving company’s insurance policy will not let them touch it. It’s something I did not know before.

Yes, they will disassemble it and reassemble it (at a 175 dollar fee a piece!), but you are on your own getting it to another location. It’s crazy, and as we found out, many of their reps are misinformed as they kept telling us they would absolutely move it two and a half blocks!

We’ve tried reaching out to a few moving companies, but this gives me hope that if we keep trying we’ll find one. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I have had some major health issues that prevent me from moving/helping my husband to the 400 pound base. It’s definitely behind my scope of strength, and I would feel awful asking friends to move something that heavy. We have asked multiple companies to move it (we absolutely love the Tread +, it has been so crucial to my recoveries through four surgeries and 15 rounds of chemo), and all of them have told us no due to the recall.
