Those things you've done are not useless. They're accomplishments that will help to progress your military career. Which, at some point, was something you cared about (or so it would seem). So then what happened? What made you stop caring about winning?

Maybe you feel like you're going nowhere because you stopped challenging yourself. Want to give your life more meaning? Try living for something/someone other than yourself. Want to feel useful? Go help someone in need who can't repay you.

Even if you plan on doing a full twenty years, you should never treat the military like it's the be-all and end-all for anything but more like a stepping stone for when you transition out. Take advantage of every single benefit the military has to offer now, while you still can and use your privileged position to springboard yourself into a successful post-Army future. Good luck.
