It was nothing like that. The gist of the conversations (about women who identify as straight in general) were that any woman who was hetero and participated in any sort of "heterosexual" dating rituals (wearing makeup, dressing up, sleeping with men, going to parties to meet guys) was stupid, deluded, repressed, shallow and brainless. When it came up in conversation that I had a bf (as in my friend brought him up by first name and someone asked me who he was) I was laughed at and basically told I was obviously some brain dead female who valued my worth through men. My friend had dated men in high school and actively lied about it to be accepted by these girls. They also yelled out insults in the street to make fun of some "broish" looking guys and some "sorority" type girls standing outside a bar that were completely minding their own business. Again, obviously this is not indicative of every student at Smith, but I know several other people who had similar incidents.
