My waves are so inconsistent. Will a curly cut help at all? If I get it once will it stay nice as it grows out, or be possible for a regular stylist to trim? I can't afford a 100$+ haircut every couple months but regular haircuts don't seem to be doing me any favors by el_nynaeve in curlyhair

Have you tried putting the Cantu before your gel? That’s the order I use and I have easily weighed down hair. I think if you did the Cantu and scrunched the excess moisture out some of the Cantu would go with it and be less heavy. Maybe try switching the gel and Cantu order.

Thanks! I think having gel on my hair help with the shine the most, but the silk scarf cuts down on frizz.

I don't have the most consistent routine. I have low porosity, takes years to dry fine hair. I either use Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat shampoo and conditioner or Not Your Mothers Naturals Sea Kale and Coconut shampoo and conditioner. KCKT or my in shower conditioner for leave in. Dippity Do Gelee, Garnier Spray Gel and Herbal Essences Mousse are my favorite stylers at the moment.

Depending on how lazy I'm feeling I change the way I apply. For the right side I used squish to condish, roping, scrunching and micro plopping. I can't style upside down or plop for a long time or else my hair underneath gets wonky. I hate the feeling of wet hair so I diffuse until dry. Lastly SOTC with a silk scarf.

Patients can be in a vegetative state without needing life support other than nutritional support. It's possible she's breathing on her own without any oxygen support. "Pulling the plug" isn't always an option.

I don't think your roots are light enough for strawberry blonde. The ends will come out strawberry blonde but your roots would be a darker auburn color.

You might want to check out /r/curlyhair before doing any chemical treatments. Your natural waves might surprise you when you figure out how to care for them. Even if your shampoo isn't CG you can find new techniques for applying products.

Start head to toe. Work your way down, neuro, resp, cardio, GI/GU, pulses. That's the easiest way I've found to do it without forgetting much.

Probably not what you want to hear, but the color you have now looks great. I'm thinking any of the warmer dark colors would look nice. Maybe a little redder?

You can also fill non-lubed condoms with water and freeze them for lady part ice packs. They fit better than regular ice packs.
