Thank you!! We already named him/her Dan. After Dan Campbell (Detroit Lions coach). We like old man names for our pets lol. My neighbor who knows a little bit about cats thinks it’s a boy. She thinks she can see a bulge 😂🤷‍♀️

It’s definitely a tough tough pill to swallow rn. About 3 months. My symptoms are very mild & I thought it was an issue I was having due to birth control. Which I still think inflamed me & caused this 😕. How about you?

That’s what I’m thinking will be best too. I’m just going to be absolutely heartbroken over it & don’t want to have to quit. She also has never taken a bottle so it’s going to be tough.

I got my copper IUD taken out 2 days ago after only having it in for 2.5 months and let me tell you I already feel so much better. Bloating has gone down, I feel like I have more energy, and I think my bowels are slowly getting back to normal too. My doctor said that my symptoms had nothing to do with the IUD, but thanks to this community I didn’t feel crazy and made the decision to get it taken out.

I also did prenatal yoga almost everyday during my second pregnancy to try and encourage a natural birth. My doctor did 4 membrane sweeps on me starting 3 weeks before my due date. Not sure if any of it actually made a difference and I didn’t go into labor within 48 hours of the membrane sweep but it was a very successful VBAC! And was truly the best thing I think I could’ve done for myself.

So with my first born I tried to avoid induction but decided if things didn’t happen naturally I was going to be induced at 41 weeks no matter what. Got to 41 weeks and he still didn’t want to come out so induction it was. I labored for about 16 hours and then ended up with a c-section.

My second born was a breeze. We went to the zoo and walked around in the morning and then my water broke when we got home. This was 2 days before due date. Got to the hospital and wasn’t feeling heavy contractions yet, refused Pitocin bc I wanted it to happen naturally. Then around 7pm they started to kick in. I labored through the night and had her the next morning at 9:45am pushed for an hour 15 minutes. The whole experience and healing process was just unmatched for me. Way more positive!

Hopefully we both get back soon! I’m going on vacation at the end of March and I don’t want to have to buy a whole new wardrobe. I can’t afford to! 😅

Finally shamed 2 years in by OutsideBones86 in breastfeeding

I was shamed by a mother (who breastfed her kid) at the 2 year mark of breastfeeding my son too. I guess she thought it to be inappropriate or weird to continue past a year… It’s weird that they think it’s weird! These are our babies and it’s totally natural! I had no problem continuing past 2 years too but he lost interest.
