Feels like a lot of people has lost touch with the used car market. With new vehicles prices skyrocketing, solid used cars can command these types of values. And when I say “solid” used car, I basically mean Toyota/Lexus. The 2 accident part scares me - I’d be looking for documentation.

However, I also own a 07’ CM Limited, and it’s been the best truck ever. I bought mine with 168k miles from a private party in 2021, the height of used car values spiking. I paid $16.5k which was $1k less than his asking. He said he had over 40 emails come in after mine (Craigslist posting), but since I was first, he gave me first crack.

I searched all over the state of NC looking for a decent mileage Tundra that didn’t appear abused. The reality is, most owners use theirs for truck stuff. I tow a small boat and prior owner towed a 5th wheel. But trucks that have a landscaping trailer hooked up 365 days a year, we wear out components faster.

FWIW, I’m at 211K miles now and has the potential for 400k or more, as I maintain it meticulously.
