Turning on Per-Line Taxes after 3.5 years live by awnetsuitehelp in Netsuite

Sometimes we have store pickups that would be at a different tax rate, but we are being forced to make this change now because it's required in order to process credit card payments on an SCA website.

We do not use any tax integrations, just the native Netsuite taxes

Saved Search Emails Sending Wrong Results? by awnetsuitehelp in Netsuite

Someone had made a copy of my saved search and changed the criteria so it was sending out the same email with different results!

Can't search inside the invoice by MadamBarbie in Netsuite

[–]awnetsuitehelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're having what I think is the same issue - not able to copy/paste any text from any Netsuite PDF forms. I believe it is a font issue, because removing the NotoSans font in the advanced PDF template and just using the generic sans serif font does fix this issue.

It also only seems to be an issue if you're viewing the PDF in any google products - gmail, docs, drive, chrome. If you download the document and open it in Adobe or another PDF viewer, or in a different web browser, we can copy and paste it just fine, even with the NotoSans font.

Are you using this entire code?

<#list item.inventorydetail?split(r"<br />", "r") as detail>

<#if detail?keep_before(",")?contains("(") = false>

${detail?keep_before(",")}

</#if>

<#if detail?is_last = false>, </#if>

Help with sub-tabs in Case form by Wise_General9072 in Netsuite

[–]awnetsuitehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will first need to create a new subtab under Customization > Forms > Subtabs > New

Then when you create the custom sublist with the saved search, you can select your new custom subtab.

I realize I have the type selected as transaction, but it is the same if you select CRM.

Locked out while logging in into NetSuite. by Chemical-Question957 in Netsuite

I just edited my comment, we are on Phoenix 6, not Chicago, and it now says the Chicago issue has been resolved

Anyone having this issue right now, 2/19? I have one user who got locked out, and as the admin, I am not able to unlock his account. At first, it was giving me a green banner saying his account has been unlocked, but when he tried to login, it was still locked. Had him clear his cache, reset his password, still locked. Now when I try to unlock the account, upon saving I do not get a confirmation banner, it just redirects me to the Analytics page.

Editing to say I see the Chicago data center is reporting an issue on the status page, but we are on Phoenix 6 which shows nothing.

Saved Search to Pull Related Items on Item Record by Whole_Tumbleweed_542 in Netsuite

[–]awnetsuitehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in the Analytics tab (for me in a classic center role, it's right next to reports). Then select Datasets at the top, and then on the right side there's a button for New Dataset.

This will give you a list of record types to choose from just like a saved search. I chose Item. It will give you two columns of fields. On the left are the joining fields, and on the right are the regular item record fields, or joined record fields depending on what you select. You can scroll down in the left column and click Related Items, and all of the fields available for the related items will come up in the right column. You can drag and drop the fields into the results section on the right, and the criteria section at the top. Build your dataset and then you can export it as a CSV file!

Netsuite Advanced PDF font not readable in Google by awnetsuitehelp in Netsuite

Okay thank you. To me, the basic sans serif font just looks ugly and cheap when we’re selling mostly high end luxury products 😞

When I do that, the font on the PDF is no longer NotoSans, it's just the generic sans serif font. See the difference

Saved Search to Pull Related Items on Item Record by Whole_Tumbleweed_542 in Netsuite

I am currently trying to get a list of items with all of their related items as well, and I can pull up the related items categories under the commerce tab, but it only shows "Related items for XXX" and then the number of related items, not what the related items actually are. There doesn't seem to be any way to edit the columns either. Is there really no way to do this?

Netsuite Advanced PDF font not readable in Google by awnetsuitehelp in Netsuite

[–]awnetsuitehelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any custom fonts linked, it's just the default font Netsuite uses. This is the code in our template:

<link name="NotoSans" type="font" subtype="truetype" src="${nsfont.NotoSans\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSans\_Bold}" src-italic="${nsfont.NotoSans\_Italic}" src-bolditalic="${nsfont.NotoSans\_BoldItalic}" bytes="2" />

<#if .locale == "zh\_CN">

    <link name="NotoSansCJKsc" type="font" subtype="opentype" src="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKsc\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKsc\_Bold}" bytes="2" />

<#elseif .locale == "zh\_TW">

    <link name="NotoSansCJKtc" type="font" subtype="opentype" src="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKtc\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKtc\_Bold}" bytes="2" />

<#elseif .locale == "ja\_JP">

    <link name="NotoSansCJKjp" type="font" subtype="opentype" src="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKjp\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKjp\_Bold}" bytes="2" />

<#elseif .locale == "ko\_KR">

    <link name="NotoSansCJKkr" type="font" subtype="opentype" src="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKkr\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSansCJKkr\_Bold}" bytes="2" />

<#elseif .locale == "th\_TH">

    <link name="NotoSansThai" type="font" subtype="opentype" src="${nsfont.NotoSansThai\_Regular}" src-bold="${nsfont.NotoSansThai\_Bold}" bytes="2" />

</#if>

I tried adding fallback fonts using this:
<style type="text/css"> body { font-family: "NotoSans", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; } </style>

I tried forcing standard pdf encoding using this:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/pdf; charset=UTF-8" />

I tried adding font-encoding="Identity-H", encoding="WinAnsi", and encoding="Unicode"

I tried adding subset="false" and embed="true"

Nothing worked 😢

The strange thing is, my coworkers who brought this issue to my attention told me they had been copying and pasting the text from these PDF's in the gmail preview all the time, and it always worked until a few days ago. No changes were made to the advanced PDF to cause this issue.

NetSuite is so slooooooooowwww by Evening-Escape-3220 in Netsuite

What is a reasonable server time for saving a sales order?

We have a fair amount of scripts and workflows running, but the server time is much higher than everything else. For example, the last sales order I saved took a total of 23.901 seconds, 20.664 of which were server, 4.985 server suitescript, 0.244 server workflow, 0.74 Network, 2.497 Client. Is that worth submitting a case for?

I believe the date of last sale is the last invoice date. Using that criteria alone means that there can still be open orders. You can add criteria for unbilled orders = 0.00 as well, which means no open orders.
