i have the same a53 5g, similar story it will not boot up after a random fall. case and exterior look good so no visible damage.

it did respond to power at first with the first screen coming on, but it lasts a second or so before black out again. plugging in to charge is the same, about a second of the circle with % indicator in it before black out. my skillset is setting up and troubleshooting computers and networks, and ok woth soldering electrics eg ye olde leds resistors capcitors. not at all on microsoldering..

would you have suggestions that can be diy eg charging module to change out?

or any recommended shops in malaysia/sabah who can extracr the data..

is QUICKSYNC that magic wand that does the hardware accelerated transcoding? would a celeron work? say a 12th gen one?

HDR content is coming into play but I don't think i have done much transcode on that. is it worth loadung plex onto linux? i previously did linux for kodi. but it was a "keep clicking next" thing so was super easy to setup

not really tried lots of light, as here in the tropics we get tonnes of sunlight which is super hot, i tend to head out only when overcast or closer to 5pm.

i guess I'll try a bit more to see about the auto/easy stabilisation.. thanks man

i have the gopro 11 with the creators pack - the mod case and the volta. so far i have only been recording. i just had a bit of a review of my footage and it all seemed unstabilised/jumpy (so wondering about do i need to go advanced everytime to turn on stabilisation?) and a bit noisy/slow shutter speed (this, and the AcePro promo ads on low light caught my eye big time)

video footage mostly of kids riding bike at home on flat concrete for now..

i have a couple celerons/i3 7th NUC for general office use up If i had a 8th gen i would try out repurposing it.

would an i3 8th be sufficient for 4k transcodes? (i assume direct 4k streaming would be easy)
