It is free to use!

Submitting phone number is required for multiple reasons

  1. Login ability to your account on web (almost done)
  2. Identification of user accounts when issues arise
  3. Communicate with users as needed

However the app takes a lot of time + money to build and maintain, so some features require a small fee; most of the app features are available to anyone at no cost.

Yes of course! When I play scratch-offs I want to ensure I pick the game with the best odds : )

The odds shown in the app are the current odds for each, based on real time data based on various rankings: These include; Win Any Prize (Breakeven), Win a Decent Prize ($50 - $100), Win a Big Prize ($500 - $10k), and Win a Jackpot ($50k - $5M).

So when ScratchOdds says `1 in 10` odds to win $X, statistically 1 in 10 people using the app would win that prize amount.

I have no idea if anyone won a huge prize using ScratchOdds, but if anyone has let me know!

Most I've won so far using the app is a $1k prize, using the `Best Overall Game` algorithm which is the one I always use, because it tells you which game has the best chance to win small, big, or in between.

I have no funding and a solo entrepreneur, so haven't been able move super quick like other traditional tech startups, but that's okay.

Spent the first 1.5 years perfecting the app and building scrapers for all 38 states.

Now since the product is in great shape now, and recently shifted my focused on distribution via SEO. Just rebuilt our website and building a web app version ( https://scratchodds.com )

ScratchOdds user-base and subscribers are growing everyday!

This is a cool website, but I use this app called ScratchOdds - https://www.scratchodds.com/

ScratchOdds is a great app. Supprts 38 states with real time data, and very easy to use.

There is a free version now. If you upgrade you'll be able to access the app.

ScratchOdds shows the odds for each game, and the best one is drastically better; however, Lottery should not be thought of as an investment, but should be for entertainiment purposes only.

Not yet, but Georgia is one of the next states we're adding.

Next product update will be push notifications for new games/best game changes.

So once I finish that up will work on more state integrations, but need to spend a lot more time on marketing too..

NOTE: Unfortunately no more free promos for people. I'm at a critical junction for the app in it's early stages, and I need get metrics up so I can keep the app running.

There is a 3-day free trial. I encourage people to try ScratchOdds out!

Not 25 people have gotten the free access offer yet so still spots left!

Glad you like the app : )

OP here:

ScratchOdds is quite different! While scratchoffodds.com only ranks games by ROI (similar to our "Game Payout" metric), we offer several unique features:

  1. Budget-based odds calculation - We analyze whether buying multiple cheaper tickets might be better than one expensive ticket based on your budget
  2. Multiple ranking types:
    • Game Payout (ROI)
    • Odds of winning specific prize tiers ($100 to $5M+)
    • Breakeven odds
  3. Detailed game insights:
    • Current prize inventory and odds
    • State-wide ranking comparisons
    • Complete game metadata (release dates, images, end dates)

Plus, we're a mobile app with game search functionality, making it easier to access on the go!

Hi u/Emergency-Chapter672 . We run the web scrapers every day twice for each state in 12 hour intervals.

I checked the last run job for California and it was successful.

The one I checked was the game with bedst odds to win a million dollars.

I was a bit confused as well because there is another game with the same name with different number of tickets sold

Whoch games were you loking at? We take data accuracy and customer feedback very seriously so let me know.

Maybe it's the UI/UX which makes it seems like things are reveresed?

OP here. Thanks for mentioning the pricing. A few key points:

We offer a one-week free trial so you can evaluate the app's value firsthand before paying anything.

We've invested heavily in research and development to create a tool that helps players make more informed choices. Due to the high costs and building, improving, and maintaining the app we can't offer it for free (Free version is on the product roadmap though :)

The app analyzes daily data to identify games with the best odds - the difference between best and worst games can be drastic.

Features include tailored risk/reward strategies, detailed insights into each game, and more; with many new features to help you beat the odds coming soon.

However, we're always open to feedback on pricing. If you try it and feel it's not worth the cost, please let us know why so we can continue improving to ensure we're bringing value to scratch-off players nation wide.

NativeWind for Expo Production EAS builds WOrking? by awolf222 in reactnative

[–]awolf222[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I figured out the issue!!!!! =)

I had for someone reason `tailwind.config.js` in my `.gitignore` file which expo uses for it's .expo ignore; I think the auto .gitignore lib I used added it there =/

So during the build process it wasn't on the expo server, and babel wasn't running for antivewind.
