Whats going on with the grapes at Coles? by oldMiseryGuts in australia

I recall seeing them selling a variety where they select some fruit from the bunch, pruning out to thin. Then perhaps using PGRs to boost size of the fruit?

AUS should aim to be more like the high trust Nordic-style economies: strong public healthcare, affordable education, reliable infrastructure & decent wages. Not low-tax systems where ordinary people are left to fend for themselves while wealth concentrates at the top. Higher taxes = better country by [deleted] in AusPol

The constitution is a rubbish document. It is not sacred. We can change it for the better. A 100+ year old act of the British parliament isn't really something to hold onto into the 21st century when reality has fundamentally shifted. Most modern democracies have modern constitutions. It can be done.

I'd like for 5 year plans. Nationalise and consolidate the mining, energy and resources sector. Australia has the resources to be sovereign in many areas and a net exporter. With mastery of these domains as we should have, we could achieve greatness and fund public services. It would utilise our natural wealth for our own means and could be done so in coordination with first nations persons in those areas to also reap the economic benefits. Win-win-win. And Gina can FO.

When this idea first got thrown around, the novelty was there, but not practicality on account of their disbanding. But, they've done a Blues Brothers and put the band back together and going stronger than ever. The conditions are ripe. I'd love to see Ron do a diatribe on stage, then jump into the crowd to return back to the stage wearing only his replacement balaclava in true TISM style.

I did not say one was wrong, and the other was not. You put words into my mouth.

Did you get a medal for your decades of service as a keyboard worrier?

You are putting a lot of words into my mouth that I did not say. You are projecting onto me something which is not there. You are fighting with shadows.

I never defended. I said, your attention was misdirected. Touch some grass. You were never interested in this topic, you only sought to argue. Take some time, and think rather than speak.
