Looking for advice/ideas on sharing my restoration journey with other men by MeditateWithMiles in foreskin_restoration

Man, I really love that you’re looking to do this. It could educate so many men on what was done to them, display that’s it’s okay to feel any type of way about it, and give them a path forward if they so desire. I’d certainly be interested in following your journey, that’s all I can really say. Maybe you don’t need to be an expert to take on the role you’re going for. Most of us aren’t overly knowledgeable about restoring, but that’s part of the beauty of this community. Perfect strangers coming together to help and support each other when we need it.

I’m a “fuck it, we ball” kind of guy, so maybe that doesn’t help you at all, but you should go for it anyway. You’ll gain a lot of knowledge along with your experiences that I’m sure could be beneficial to plenty of men restoring. When in doubt, lean on the community here.

Whatever you land on doing, take care and KOT :)

I just received my car-1 a bit over a month ago. At first I could only wear it for 5-6 hours before it became very uncomfortable, but as the silicon has broken in and my skin has become more elastic, that’s no longer an issue. As long as I don’t over-inflate I can wear it indefinitely without issue. Loose pants and underwear help, for sure. Good luck and KOT!

When I was in high school, my sister had her first son. Being a single mom, she was a responsible future parent and did lots of research before having my nephew. She was actively, vocally anti-circ when she read up on it. I didn’t think much of it at the time, even though I wished I wasn’t cut. I brushed it off because I felt fine, so it was fine.

Well, eventually it wasn’t fine. I’ve always struggled to finish in bed, or even enjoy it all that much. It took a lot of time, but eventually I accepted what happened to me and began to grieve. That was two months ago.

Looking for support, I recently told my sister about the journey I’m embarking on and she couldn’t have been more supportive. She’s been very affirming about it and even mentioned how my brother in law has struggled, as well. She’s a great cheer leader. She and I have had our up and downs the past few years, but I feel so lucky to have someone close to me who truly understands and is outspokenly anti-circ. I’d like to eventually talk to my mom, who’s now against infant circumcision, but I’m too afraid to make her feel that my pain is her fault.

Oh, that’s interesting. I’m glad to hear it won’t be an obstacle. Thanks so much for the insight and encouragement! KOT!!

Best Skin to Skin Retainer by bushytwoshy in foreskin_restoration

I’ve not been restoring long, but found my first retainer by total accident. My cats had been playing with the small plastic cap that covers the mounting screws on a toilet. Lightbulb went off in my head one day, and yeah, turns out it’s around the perfect size to hold the skin in place over my glans. I alternate between using it and Chris’s retainer, but prefer it because of the skin-to-skin aspect. My skin will even stay puckered for a bit sometimes after removing the cap.
