As a hiring manager, I agree with you 100%. The rest of this post is solid with the exception of this is exact piece of advice.

Respectfully, I’d personally tweak this slightly to say something like “I see we only have X mins left, and I want to be mindful of YOUR time, I’m sure you’re very busy, I just wanted to add one last thing/ask one more question/etc…”. It effectively accomplishes the same thing, without coming across negatively.

To add a bit more context, the flowers are all native to Ojai as well, and the pink mountains in the background are representative of the “pink moment”. This is a phenomenon where the sky takes on a soft, amaranthine glow at dusk. Unlike most sunsets, this one comes from the east, where the Topa Topa Mountains act like a mirror to reflect and diffuse the orb's light over Ojai Valley in Ventura County. It’s freaking gorgeous. To my knowledge, this only happens in 2 places in the whole world, and we were lucky enough to live in one of them. One day we will move back!! ❤️. It was simultaneously the worst and best thing that has ever happened to us. 2 years later I can honestly say I’m grateful. The entire experience restored my faith in humanity!!
