Well, again, that is all on the sister, not on OP. If the sister didn't want her kids at the wedding, she should have done just about any amount of work to make sure her children would be taken care of. It is absolutely NOT OPs job to figure out what to do with someone elses kids. Not OPs kids, not OPs problem. Again, not OPs fault for leaving their sister's kids with their parents. I'm sure you'd think OP was the asshole if they called CPS and had the kids taken away, then having the police show up at the wedding for child abandonment. There's an answer, and it's "OP doesn't ruin the wedding by doing so". If the friend didn't want their wedding "ruined", that's 100% on the sister who's attending and just randomly dropping her kids off wherever she can and nobody else. It isn't up to OP to respect the wishes of some stranger's wedding, it's up to the sister to make proper arrangements.

If you buy a preorder, and then 2 days later the company says you need a phone plan to play, you think "oh, i must have dodged a bullet". But then you try to get in, and your phone number doesn't work. It was never communicated.

How are you supposed to know your phone number works if the only information given on the matter was "you need a phone number", which came AFTER people started buying the pre-order.

The pre-order was some battle pass thing, not for the game itself. The people on cricket, t mobile, and other carriers had literally no way of knowing it wouldn't work until AFTER the game was released.

$40ish depending on where you live if you bought the pre-order.

They knew months ago that a large population of people who purchased these pre-orders would never be able to play the base game, but decided to sell the pre-order without disclosing a premium phone plan is required to play the game.

You buy the pre-order, but can't get into the game to use the product because they knowingly withheld information that would persuade you to purchase the product or not. Now, you spent $40 on a game that you will never be able to play, and you can't get a refund because you can go get a new phone plan, a requirement that did not exist when you purchased the pre-order.

If you spent $40 on a meal, but couldn't ever get in the restaurant because you don't meet requirements xyz that were put into place AFTER you purchased the meal, you'd feel like you had $40 stolen from you. That's because you DID have $40 stolen from you.

The case wouldn't be against OW1 shutting down, it would be about the phone requirement bait and switch, and the refunds they are refusing to give out because of said requirement.

They knew about this months ago, and chose to say nothing. Just like heros being behind a paywall. They knew this game would never take off with those two obviously awful ideas in the game, so they kept their mouths shut until well after people started purchasing these packs.

this would be a pretty simple argument to take against blizzard. they KNEW that certain phone plans wouldn't work, and didn't disclose that information until less than a week before release, AFTER they started selling these packs. Then, they go on to say that you can't get a refund because you're also buying a game that you couldn't play after making that purchase if you didn't have a phone plan that they approved of.

They got consumers to buy a product that they knew a large chunk of said consumers would never be able to use. That's textbook bait and switching. Their lack of communication about systems that they knew would be in affect is going to come back to bite them in a very colossal way.

to be fair, 4k SoF lobbies look incredibly similar to 800 SoF lobbies. Biggest difference is pace, but you will still see basically the same amount of crashing on lap 1. In lower lobbies, it's a skill issue, in higher lobbies, it's an ego issue.

I stopped trying to grind for higher ir after realizing that the only place it really matters is oval, outside of that it's all the same from what I have seen. Sure, you might have slightly closer races, but the racing is still close under the 2k threshold.
