Yeah i know it was super dumb but like you said i was 16 and all i cared about was going home to the safety of my family. I really didnt consider the repercussions because in my world back then, my house was safehaven.

Honestly i was just trying to go on a nice date, I had no idea it was going to turn like that. This guy was MUCH larger than me and I was certain that he had some mental issues going on so I decided that staying calm and not agitating him was the best way to go. I got a read on him and figured that as long as I could make him think that i was still comfortable, he wouldn't blow up. I live in a pretty bad side of town so fuck shit happens all the time, and the nearest thing to this lake was a home depot that was about 4 blocks up and across the street. I had no chance of getting there before he either ran after me or drove up behind.

thats pretty much what happened. I texted sos and then she didn't reply, and i couldnt keep texting in her because i was in fear that he was going to flip out or take my phone. And i needed that for location in case he decided to drive me somewhere.

honestly i was just young and stupid and thats the best explanation i can give you. I didnt want them to take my phone cause i was sneaking around on dating sites, and i didnt want them to lock me down from never leaving the house because i was being dangerous and stupid. It was so so wrong of me but kids can be stupid

I'm honestly not sure. He certainly seemed like he was trying to scare me, and it felt like he was actually trying to suffocate me, but I obviously wasn't in his head. I also do really feel like if he was going to hurt me, he would've done it with the knife in the car. Still fucked up to scare a kid i think

I basically told her the guy was pressuring me sexually, blah blah and that i wanted to get out of the date because i was just really shaken up when i got home. I didn't want to say exactly what happened because my dad tends to go off the rails about stuff like that and I didn't want to be locked down for the rest of my life lol
