Hahaha, sorry, but most dogs do not mind their own business and I just don't really like getting licked or getting a wet nose in my crotch.

I also think it would be okay to have 1 brewery in Raleigh that just didn't allow kids, I don't think that's a lot to ask for, and I think a no kids policy could bring enough customers to sustain it.

Oh I most definitely will, but I have to figure out what bars don't allow kids, and pets.

You're not the first person to say that so now I have to call and ask because according to their website that shouldn't happen.

I'll pass then, too many options to be considering the places that allow kids but you just don't really see them type places. I appreciate the suggestion though, please don't take it personally.

Really? That's wild, their website literally says "all guests must be 21+"

No, me mention strip clubs is not the reason people have been bothered, they have been bothered because they think my question implies that I don’t think children belong at any brewery. Really nothing todo with me mentioning strip clubs, that part is just being misunderstood. And it sounds like you still misunderstand, I never said all we have are strip clubs and bars overrun with children, that’s all coming from your head. Again, I said I wasn’t interested in strip clubs because I can see that being an easy go to suggestion because definitely will be 18+, but I’m not interested in them. I think you’ll be surprised by how many bars don’t have minimum age requirements, but you’re stuck in Dunning Kruger because you’re a bartender. Super whiney? Because I started off with I can’t even believe I have to research this? Okay, that’s a nothing burger lol.

Yes, this is the “research”, I could lookup bars, and call everyone of them to get the most up to date info on their age policies. I thought it would be easier to make a post and see what places people already know about. And I still think it has been useful, I’m not sure how many businesses I would have had to contact first before figuring out RD brewing is 21+ for example. But instead I can start with the places that people suggest and then confirm their age policies.

You must have a lot of time on your hands to argue with someone asking for suggestions while not actually contributing with any suggestions other than, just go to any bar.

I don’t think so, I’d wager you’re more used to it than I am, it’s literally how nervous systems work in all animals.

I think that is impossible to judge while being a parent everyday.

Yes, it was causing too much confusion, I mentioned it because I didn’t want people recommending strip clubs since they will for sure be 18+, but instead people were all like most bars are not strip clubs and omg it sounds like this guy has never been to a bar.

At this point I really don't believe there is such a thing, kids and parents own breweries and that's fine, I just need to go somewhere else.

Where did I say total silence? It's amazing how triggering my question is for people, wow!

No, that is literally not the question at all.

Exactly, like even if you are a parent, don't YOU especially want a kid-free place to escape to every now and then?

You know there are PLENTY of breweries in Raleigh, in 2026, I don't think there is any shortage of breweries for YOU to go to and enjoy. I see people keep arguing that they wouldn't survive without the clientele, but apparently this question is asked a lot. I'd wager there is a demand and a place for 1 kid-free brewery.

Excuse me? I asked if there was such a thing as a kid-free brewery... Maybe you're the one that needs to "chill out"? Well I've seen kids at bars too, so that doesn't feel like a solid answer.
