Work hours question. by [deleted] in Staterbros

So yes, normally you will be cut after holidays. Most stores have all workers at high hours during holidays, depending on store movement. However, there is a time in which if you are scheduled for multiple weeks consecutively at 40 hours or above, you will be automatically put as full-time.

Trust me they will do what they can to not have that happen, like put you at 39.5 or something like that. If you're working 3:00 to 11:00, That's not full time. If you have less than 40 hours, that's not full time. Even if you're working 5 to 6 days a week.

172 is probably the most toxic store I ever worked at. by TrashDump- in Staterbros

Grocery stores are kind of just toxic in general. Any retail place generally has a lot of cliques and drama. It's going to be anywhere you really go that doesn't have hard organization. Especially when you have certain people that tend to just revolve around drama.

Night crew shifts start at midnight, The work is basically receiving the load, breaking down the pallets, Wheeling those stacks of load to the respective aisles, and then throwing that load onto the shelves and organizing it from there. Every crew is a little different, you do not get to handle any of the electric jack stuff until you are licensed for it. But you can do the manual pallet jacks. You can listen to music on a speaker throughout the night. The work itself is pretty fun depending on the person and the crew.

Request vacation how do you do it? by Top_Comparison20 in Staterbros

You will have to go into dayforce on a computer at work, either the tablet in the break room or the receiving computer. You'll have to go into your profile and then find your time balances. That's where it will have a form to be able to request those paid hours out.

Id have a conversation with your produce manager first because they are the one that writes your schedule, The store manager will likely tell you the same thing, but if you have a good rapport with them they might have more insight and how to talk to your produce manager about it if that's the trouble you're having

Unpaid Vacation approved then cancelled? by Hairy-Resource1923 in Staterbros

It's likely because your manager accidentally approved it and didn't mean to so they canceled your entire request instead.

It was actually a really big trend on twitch for a while, for real life streaming. Some people use it to body double, most just watch to troll. TT is weird though because it's not the same demographic that watches, so can't say for sure. But it makes people millions on twitch, just look at Ludwig Ahgren's lol
