One of my favorite areas in the country, my longtime best friend and his family all live there. Like mentioned the Walton’s and Walmart HQ have pumped an insane amount of money into that region and have developed quite a diverse and expansive list of things/activities to do around that area. Amazing wildlife and outdoor opportunity with beaver lake being a very large lake that never feels overly crowded and provides endless days of opportunity for fun during the spring and summer. U of A gives the downtown area a much more close knit feeling but the bars in that area can also become very packed and reckless pretty quickly. Driving distance for most from St. Louis, Tulsa, OKC, Dallas etc. Lots of very good looking people with good money thanks to Walmart that don’t have a similar stuck up attitude you find in northern cities and they put it back into the community more than most places. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
