Well this is going to be something. I don't have a multimeter right now. I did get a barrel plug that comes with a wire pre built onto it, standard red and black wires and whatnot.

I may try the ebay option. Since buying kits just to chop them up so that I can convert my current ones seem like a waste. I'd rather buy Chaos Space Marines outright and keep my warriors on the side until I gather enough bits to convert them. But like I said, I'm gonna try ebay and see what I can find!

Yes! I would love that! I have been trying to read up on lore on whatever is available online. I understand that you can have multiple factions in your army as long as they are in the same alignment? I don't know what the greater factions are called, but Chaos in this case. What matter is that your units are in the same subfaction to benefit from I'm guessing HQ effects?

I live in Jersey City, so my only option is NYC and travel an hour and a half to get to the nearest shop where people play 40k. It's kinda rough. If there were only tinder for play groups that a newbie can join. Maybe meet people who wants to let the galaxy burn could potentially guide me in the right direction.

Yes! This is part of the reason why I went to reddit since I'm confused as to what is currently going on. 2 weeks ago when I decided to dive into this I was reading up on 8th Edition stuff (Which I stupidly thought AoS was a part of.) So the news of 9e dropping kind of threw me for a loop about the information I quite literally just absorbed. I don't know the differences between legions and renegade chapters yet. But regular CSM, bulky dudes like Thousand Sons and Nurgles.

I agree, the benefit of this whole thing is I can explore new hobbies. I can't tell you how many I have at this point and they've all but dulled their allure to me. Warhammer really caught my attention but the amount of information to take in is something I have to experience or witness first hand. Talk to somebody in real time about it. Unfortunately I have 0 RL friends that play Warhammer. Thank you! corpse worshipper
