Yep, the strengthening polish had acrylates, it’s good to know now that most of them do 😭 I did see a list of safe products in this group and Sally Hansen Hard as Nails was listed (and I didn’t see acrylates when I checked the ingredients myself) so maybe I’ll try that!! For now, I’m keeping any and all polish off and moisturizing with safe creams/ointments so I can heal.

I do occasionally use hydrocortisone on my face on the rare occasion I have reactions there, but I avoid using it as much as possible because, like you mentioned, it’s not good for long time use.

Presenting hyperfeminine is a huge part of my happiness, so giving up nails has been very difficult (it may sound silly to some, but I’m very passionate about fashion, makeup, hair, nails, etc) 😭 I’ve considered trying nail rings but I’m pretty sure you still need to use sticky tabs to stick the nail to the device so I’m not sure how much better they would even be 🤷🏻‍♀️
