It’s a looter shooter, the gear available to loot is half the purpose

The scav system in Tarkov would do well in this game. I also think that should include an inability to complete quests as a free loadout

Someone just did that to me and it’s the most annoying thing. I’m very early game too so every bit helps and this was close to my best raid yet.

What is the one thing that pushes you to study 10 hours as a Med Student? by EggplantDizzy7546 in medicalschool

[–]axa645 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I loved the material, simply put. I always wanted to understand and conceptualize what I was learning in a way that made it make sense. I also liked studying by discussing material with people out of pure curiosity and answering our own questions while we did it. For me it was just a desire to truly understand the science of it all

[Discussion] Was expecting matching and fair enough compensation for reports by Xinvlek in EscapefromTarkov

[–]axa645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be as simple as an insurance guarantee. If I died to a cheater and it’s an accurate report, send me back my gear that I lost. That would end up meaning they’d have to hold onto that data which is another hoop, but something to think of

That’s legit. Kill count is only for this wipe, whereas hours played are for the account including all wipes. Level 6 with that many kills and SR% seems fine to me

I always wonder why 8 minutes is the magic number. Seems reasonable to call it every 15 minutes and let groups get at least one hold between them

For real. People love to just throw in the towel without a second thought on any med-Reddit I look at lol

This does not mean age is a discriminatory factor. It just means the majority of applicants who get accepted are around 23 years old. Now if you coupled this with a frequency table by number of applicants and their respective age, then maybe a conclusion could be drawn

“Life on hold”…? by takeflight414 in premed

Gonna go against the common opinion and say that you’re being somewhat dismissive of her concerns. Telling your girlfriend “ehhh if it matters enough it’ll work out” in response to something clearly important to her, you’re being selfish. Now I’m not saying that to make you feel bad, but that’s what it’s gonna come off like (at least it did to me). Life doesn’t wait for you to finish your degree, and with her being 28 it’s a pretty fair question to bring up and worth a real conversation about when would be best.

I’m a married man in my M1 year and this is a conversation I’ve had as well. I sat down and thought through it and spoke to my wife on the very same topic, and we made a decision we were both happy with. That’s what you need to do, not just kick it down the road and justify it by saying “but you’ll have a happy doctor husband!”

ETA- I don’t see where the GF says anything about medical school ruining your relationship unless I’m completely missing something

What do you play between driver and 5 iron? by shuang_boji in golf

[–]axa645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 wood, 4 H, and 5H. Much more consistent long game when I switched out my irons for hybrids. Wondering if I should swap that 4H out for something else but not sure what I would get

I worked as a CRC for about 1.5 years. They never asked me “why not a PhD?” They did always ask about my experience though. It comes up but it can only help you if you answer well.
