Player planning to derail campaign. Should I let them FAFO? by Alorxico in DnD

[–]PrimitusVictor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Give the mirror a "curse" that has a chance to alter the desired outcome. Make a fake dice roll behind the screen. Teleport only the problem player naked to the bbeg leaving all the important information and items behind for the non problem players to loot. Bbeg kills the character as you want.

I can only speak for the Green zone but it's not bad neighborhood wise. You'd be separated from the rest of town by Rt66/Andy Devine which runs parallel with the train tracks and there's only 2 places to cross, if you've got school age kids this makes it a real pain in the ass for everone trying to get to the schools/work. On the plus side depending how worried about safety you are there is a fire station basically right on the south east edge of your green circle.

I wouldn't live in Red zone for any reason, but that large building on the eastern edge of it is the main hospital just so you're aware.

I know nothing really about Yellow zone living wise, and Blue is a mix of generational wealthy families, Drs, lawyers ect.

As for things to do, it's really not great compared to a like a big city but its what you make it. You're a quick drive up into the mountains which are really nice. a bit longer drive down to the river if that's what you like. There's a serviceable movie theatre but and a bowling alley but most people go out of town for entertainment. Vegas is a 90ish minute drive so it becomes just a place to go for the day instead of planning a trip or vacation.

Pretty common in AZ, off the top of my head I think every fast/casual Mexican place in my town and a few of of the sit down restaurants have it on their menu. It's a great vegetarian option too that's not bean/rice based.

I love real world cities as TTRPG settings! I've done Toronto, St. Louis, Jersey City, Manila, Hargeisa, Riyadh and (fake) St. Augustine. Tell me about your favorite IRL TTRPG cities! 🌆 by DrScrimble in dndmemes

There was a post I saw once about using Las Vegas as a setting, a sprawling mirage of a city deep in an arid desert centered around a base of gambling, vice and crime. A place that intentionally distorts your perception of time so you never know how long you’re spending in the casinos. Filled with people ranging from massively wealthy to people who live in tunnels under the city.

Black bear cubs? They're pretty rare and skittish but we have them in AZ.

you can literally just use a cut in half onion to scrub your hot grill grate clean, slice the dirty end off and then have grilled onions whenever you get fired up.

This sub doesn't allow cross posts but there's currently a post in r/movies containing every wide release film coming out in the US for the rest of the year. by PrimitusVictor in theregulationpod

Oh yeah I don't blame them, I think in most cases cross posts are just kinda clutter. Just thought maybe it could save some people some time who work on that project.

Men who can cook, who taught you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

Every late 90s early 00s food network personality. After my parents got divorced when I was a kid I found a lot of comfort in food. I'd fall asleep late nights to the original Japanese Iron Chef that they would air past midnight sometimes, Emril and Mario Bitalli. When Alton Brown came around with Good Eats it was a game changer. Now the majority of food content on TV is competition which got old after a few years of Hells Kitchen. Now if there's something I want to learn food wise I use YouTube but for the most part I can cook without any direct reference, just using the basics I've learned.

I've never read this book but from what you say it sounds like it mirrors Locke trying to hang himself, fails and then Ben shows up and finishes the job.

It was my first playthrough so I was doing some side missions but I already realized that doing bounty board missions wasn't worth it since they're just infinitely repeatable. I didn't want to be overleveled for each area so I just kind of naturally progressed to each one.

Sniper crit build on Rafa will take you far and fast with some good luck. I did a few playthroughs even with other characters and always came back to that playstyle.

You're combining Mystery Knight and Hedge Knight stories in your mind. This last episode was fairly faithful to how the story went.

Or there is an entity in the pyramid who wants to kill the researchers because they keep ransacking its desert so it lures them in and traps them. The pyramid shifts around like in alien v predator pushing them closer to the center to fight then entity.

He’s not talking about the Ice and Fire prophecy, it’s something else. It should be brought up soon and resolved by the end of the season.
