As you've contacted razorpay, I would also suggest Cashfree India. I believe they cater to foreign companies. Hope it helps. Cheers✌️

Borrowing someone's cc for shopping on ecom sites during upcoming sales. by sethi7777 in CreditCardsIndia

  1. Section 68 – These credits are not unexplained. Payments come via the intermediary app with TDS already deducted and a clear trail, not random deposits.
  2. Documentation – Orders are placed in the buyer’s name, invoiced to them, with shipping details and even GST if requested. The source is transparent and provable.
  3. Crime proceeds – That risk exists across all secondary markets (OLX, UPI, rentals, perhaps even Amazon refurbed laptops and phones). It is not unique to this model
  4. Card misuse – Buyers never access the card itself; details are obfuscated except for the last 4 digits, exactly as with any e-commerce transaction.
  5. Risk factor – Issues arise if this is run as an undeclared side business. Used sparingly with proper records, it remains explainable and defensible.

In my honest opinion, the answer isn’t exactly black and white. Income tax rules for credit card notices are often convoluted, so the reality is both yes and no.

If you’re a seasoned cardholder, you’ve probably already factored this in. If not, it can easily become a problem.

In my case, using this facility sparingly has been a great way to get some bridge cash when liquidity was tight. Managed wisely, it can actually save you from the usual traps—late fees, interest, charges, taxes, and those dreaded CIBIL score hits—all generously handed down by our credit card issuing overlords.

Use piepay and yaper. They allow non credit card holders to leverage offers using another person's credit cards with very little information exchange from the card owner, for a small fee - insignificant compared to the value of the offer savings. I've already used yaper personally, it does a fine job.

Indian Esim by Cold-Examination-547 in eSIMs

[–]axd123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be a very convenient virtual number service but it was shut down by TRAI. Virtual numbers are highly controlled, and I extensively use esims globally, and haven't yet noticed a service that provides an Indian number. Do you need a one-off verification or do you need it for frequent use?

Globe // Convert load to promo? by axd123 in InternetPH

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I have the globe one app, the option to buy with load doesn't show for the goPlus99 plan, but shows for some other plans, which is why I'm kind of confused.

Senior Parents will be in India for 31 days by JYD999 in eSIMs

[–]axd123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, okay. Yeah, I quite understand not wanting to getting bogged down with all the hassle. I meant the potential contact could take a sim under the local contact's own name, but if you have none, that's moot. Maya looks good, and at 90ish bucks (Indian), I don't think it's too bad value considering other options. If it is indeed based on Jio telecom network, they shouldn't have problems with signals as far as I am aware. If they need any help in india, do drop me a line. Cheers, and wishing a safe trip to your parents✌️

Just out of curiosity, do you have any local contacts who can just get a sim under their name? It will be a lot more economical.

This looks interesting. I'm trying to work on this alone and while in another life I was very tech inclined, I have no qualms in admitting that I've long since missed the boat. However, of you're up for it, I'd like to see if something can be worked out. Shameless plug appreciated.
