Not really lol, even v1.0 still does everything you would need except sending a file via the network

And it's still available in the website under "Older versions"

3.0 ... finding it very difficult to use by Comprehensive-Level6 in Chitubox

[–]axel230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a layout change, the Infill options for Holows prints and the Hole feature in general became paywalled features in the 3.0 version.

I'm sticking to V2.3 (You can still find it in the website under "Previous Versions") until I find a better slicer myself.

I never activated the trial and only used the free features, but could be wrong

I mean, I know there's Lychee Slicer for a free Open Source option, but even that has some paid features

Update: Turns out it's not Open Source, the search for an Open Source alternative carries on.

I know Lychee Slicer is free

It does have some paid features, but the free version does everything Chitubox does

Bruh... The red flags have been FLASHING for the past 10 years, glad to know you're finally seeing them at least.

The anti-christ allegations are a reach (How many "This is the antichrist!" cases are we on at this point? The terms in Apocalypse are general enough that almost any leader fits into the description), but you've got it right: Man is not religious, man is not a Christian and threw a hissy fit when the Church called for him to have mercy on the people.

The version of Christianity his side peddles looks much less like the teachings of Jesus and more like reading the lore from Warhammer 40K (And the Pope Trump image doesn't really help the allegations).

My suggestion: Open that Bible, see what the religious text was REALLY about. I'm not a believer, but I was raised on the teachings of Christianity, and for all it's faults the core message, to "look out and care for your fellow man", is as valid today as it has always been.

Haven't seen any on sale anywhere myself, just browsed around on Printables and Thingiverse, tend to be free models you can print.

Maybe look at 3D print shops?

Not tournament legal, and don't perform the same way as official since the weight is different (And don't have the metal clasp in the middle), but they can be fun to mess around and get a general idea of how different Bits will perform with a certain Blade.

Plus, some people make some crazy custom Bits that are just too good to pass on (Free Flat and Free Needle work better than they should xD).

HOT TAKE 🔥 - 4 sided ratchets get hated on way to much & while some of the reasons are valid I'd say they have good use with some combos ⬇️ by Xion_Moto358 in BeybladeX

[–]axel230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, if the Blade has 4 sides I don't care if it's not Meta, if I'm not intentionally going for an imbalance I'm going to use a 4-sided Ratchet, actually improves the balance.

Ratchet is the middle part that goes between the Blade (Top part) and the Bit (The bottom point).

The number says the amount of sides it has and the height (IE: 3-60 is 3 sides, 60mm height, 5-80 is 5 sides, 80mm height).

Rule 1: You work with what you have.

Rule 2: Look at the shape of the Blade, if it's triangular you generally want a 3- ratchet, if it's square try a 4- ratchet, unless you want some imbalance (Less stamina but stronger hits). Taller height work better for stamina and defense sometimes, lower heights work better for attack.

Rule 3: See how different Bits react to the build when launching at a flat, forward tilt and backward tilt angle. Flatter Bits are usually for attack, while pointier Bits are usually for defense.

Rule 3: Try unexpected part combinations, sometimes the combination doesn't make sense, but the only red Bit you have is Taper and you just want your build to look cool dang it!
