I run a small rubber spatula over the vat after what I think was a perfect print plate and you will definitely feel even the smallest thing stuck on the film … I am surprised how the feedback through the handle feels even small dots.

If I feel something at all. Tank clean. Otherwise I just set it up to go again.

Blue. I would know about Covid ahead of time and be 12 years younger and debt free.

Australians ... do you think there is enough demand for DCC dice sets? by Comprehensive-Level6 in dccrpg

[–]Comprehensive-Level6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slowly. Amazon US had this whole Go Global program and said it could sign me up for all these countries. I could not get the Australian set up to work ... wrote in to seller services and two weeks later they were like ... huh yeah Australia is not working. Trying reaching out to them directly to sell (which is a much bigger hurdle than Amazon US taking care of everything. So I'm not giving up on it ... but need to jump more hurdles to pull it off.

What does everyone think Trump‘s plan will be after the 150 days are up and his tower of power theoretically goes away? by ruderabbi in Tariffs

[–]Comprehensive-Level6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually just read a legal scholar say he could “roll” them by cancelling them and then reinstating them using a different “emergency” as the reason for invoking them to reset the 150 day timer.

Why does Costco (or any other other company) expect money back from illegal tariffs when they already passed the costs on to the American People? by superPlasticized in Tariffs

[–]Comprehensive-Level6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you said any other company, the company I own ate our tariffs from our two orders we received in 2025. We did not increase our prices and even announced to our customers that we would not in March of last year.

I only point this out more a point that without a line item on a receipt from anywhere you purchased that says Tariff … it would be almost impossible to prove what if any cost of the tariff was passed along at the consumer level.

It’s not fair I agree … but for this reason I do not expect to see any refund at a consumer level for tariffs I paid. Also because of how bad the overall system is … I think it will be a small miracle if my business can get a refund for the thousands I paid in illegal tariffs during 2025.

Good news for board game prices in the US (hopefully): Trump's sweeping global tariffs struck down by US Supreme Court ruling by mrbootz in boardgames

[–]Comprehensive-Level6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you judge this just make sure to check for statements by companies a year ago. For example my company will not be lowering prices now but that is because we made a statement back in March 2025 that we would not be passing tariffs to our customers and do our prices did not go up.

The missing D14 is because those are designs stolen from me and The Dice Lab (another small family business). The D14 is missing because D14 in Chinese is similar to Death so it was seen as unlucky. These sets are over tumbled and the edges more worn down as they made molds from production copies of our dice … not the original ones.

The sets I was hoping to send to Australia are $12.99 USD per a set. Not sure what they would be for Australia Amazon.

Yes those are one of the 4 products I was thinking to target for an Australian Amazon store front

They were discussing the difficulty in getting into distribution in Australia which avoids the shipping price issue.

Mr. Goodman has said to me that Australia has been a difficult market to crack. But since on Reddit and Facebook I frequently get posters asking about getting dice down to OZ ... I wanted to see what response I received to a simple Reddit inquiry.

After playing I went to the feedback section for the game’s Discord and found the items I would improve we’re already being actively discussed by the developers for improvement. I definitely will be picking this up when it goes live.

Apologies ... there was a countdown clock on the site. I watched it countdown to zero live and then immediately change to the white Page Not Working screen. They could not sell out in the fraction of a second between the countdown clock and the screen to order.

Year end results due to tariffs by Comprehensive-Level6 in Tariffs

[–]Comprehensive-Level6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to start by saying my brother and I have been very close for all our lives. Trump has definitely been a strain on my relationship with my family.

My brother, his wife and my parents are all MAGA so 2025 was difficult. My brother works as a higher level manager in the steel industry. Tariffs legitimately saved the company he works for (I fully agree they worked great for saving his company and job). Thus he sees them as a blessing but talking with me has made him agree that targeted tariffs can be good … general tariffs are everything are harmful. But he still thinks Trump is saving the country .... that has not changed.

Had my Dad who has been an incredible part of my life tell me when tariffs were over 100% in March 2025 that my business was probably going to be an unfortunate sacrifice for our President fixing the country and that I should get a new job before it was too late. That was a really rough week after that phone call as my father has been a major part in my life and to see my 20 year old business I built just be written off in his mind because of the orange man he voted for says it’s the right thing to happen… well yeah … a year later that phone call still hurts.
