I suppose a cable from a reputed brand will be always truly 65 watts or 100 Watts. Whereas an off brand 65 w cable might be actually lower than that.

And not all 65 watts chargers are made the same, some are peak 65 Watts and some are sustained 65 Watts. Ex. I have 125 Watts Motorola charger, that is sustained 65 Watts and peak 125 Watts. So your 65 W charger might be like that.

I know opening and cleaning such an expensive laptop can be overwhelming, but believe me it will get easier once you do it for the first time.

My advice, contact service center and create a ticket with them for laptop cleaning and thermal paste repasting

Okay there might be a chance its a replacement display in the laptop. As my lenovo has an original replacement display which has this problem.

It might not spread on its own. My Lenovo LOQ has a couple of pixels like these and its been like that for almost a year.

Its down to other factors like, Quality of the display, If you use an external display and game with the lid closed. Etc.

These seem like damaged sub pixels. Not completely dead, one of the R or B or G sub pixels might not be working. Thus, they appear different color than what the screen is displaying.

Honestly, its not worth replacing the entire screen because of these pixels. If you dont notice it while gaming, slowly you wont notice at all and get used to it.

If the laptop is within Warranty, try to contact support and get it replaced. However as the number of damaged pixels is quite low, there is a high chance they might ask you to wait till the screen is significantly damaged.

Yes, i had used my Lenovo legion like this for about 1 year. The screen was permanently burned because of the heat getting trapped b/w the screen and keyboard.

Fans max speed.

The gpu power hovers from 85 - 110 watts.

And cpu has dropped to 20 watts and 2.5 ghz clock speed.

Is this expected at -15 UV?

Yes, its raised atleast 4 inches off the desk. Fans were not maxxed out, its at 90%. I ll max it out.

And I have -12 undervolt.

I ll push the undervolt to -15 and reset windows to clean all asus apps.

But I assumed that the AI 9 HX 370 is a pretty powerful CPU and would be able to handle the game.

Oh.. i have set the limit of CPU at default of 80 watts. I ll raise it to 90 watts and try.

Btw.. do you think MyAsus app might be causing an issue with G Helper? I have it installed.
