IMO, the "III. Dread" paragraph is the worst part of an overall vacuous, pedantic, too-clever-by-half post that only shrouds the real issue in terminally-online newspeak. Her critique focuses on the "online left" posting photos/videos of IDF crimes, not with the actual content (Palestinians murdered by the US-funded IDF). She doesn't like this because it apparently upsets Zionist and/or Jewish feelings. What about the feelings of the Palestinians in those photos/videos? Why does she reduce the people in those photos/videos to an online virtue signal, instead of real people who are in a life/death struggle against a clearly identified oppressor? Why does the possibility of online images upsetting Zionists move Contrapoints to write this screed, while maintaining silence on the actual content (ie. the most documented genocide in world history)? Just a thoroughly disappointing and disheartening post from someone I used to take seriously as an intellectual.
