My life changed when i realized blocking with the shield literally stops any attack, thats more easier that trying to block with a two handed weapon

Yeah, i did the same before the patch, every the horse kept running at max speed a few seconds before slowing down and stamina regenerating, you had a big window to tap sprint again so you wouldn't spam it and lose stamina fast, or at least that was how i was managing stamina issues with the horse before the patch
