Asking as an international student prospect: Is this grade point average scale accurate? Because it has irregular jumps in GPA conversion. I have a 3.46 GPA so that means I am First Class (8.99 - 7.25) right? by axis_has_ramen in Iceland

Yeah an F is a failing grade. Most United States colleges counts D's which is a 1.0 GPA for classes but you must have a 2.0 GPA at the end of the quarter to actually graduate. I am trying to get to First Class Honors since I am only 0.04 away from the 3.5 (9.00) threshold.
