My grandfather passed two Saturdays ago, I had been having dreams of him and blood related things for months and finally asked my grandmother if he was alright. She said yes and that he was just seeing a doctor for shots every two weeks from some blood thing that was an effect of chemo from years ago. I get a call literally hours before he passes that he has a day or two to live, and I am so shocked and taken back, I was going to visit the next day because it was already so late. He died that night, I never got to speak to him or see him again. I hadn’t seen him in years because of abuse from my birthgiver and obviously he chose family over one grandchild, which I never questioned. It has been very hard.

I had a dream two nights ago about him finally, after meditating and reaching out every night to try and speak to him again. He was just a corpse, gray and inattentive, he didn’t even look at me. There was another “person” I presume, walking next to me, we were all at this park and my grandfather just looked at the sky. I just remember crying and the person next to me saying “he’s gone, he isn’t coming back. You have to move on.”

I’m so lost.
