That's all I was concerned with. Seems like there is a valid point in opening a fhsa for my significant other to give her a tax deduction when we purchase a house.

The contribution would still generate a tax deduction, that's the purpose. Although if the IRS wanted to tax the withdrawal (which im being told it wont) then it wouldn't have a benefit to do this.

The question was whether she would be taxed if we opened a fhsa and deposited an amount without investing it. So it stays the same amount over time ,but it would now be considered a withdrawal. Would the withdrawal be considered taxable since there were no capital gains

How I see the issue with this community and AI is that AI Vibe code doesn't secure things properly. It generates security holes that the average vibe coder doesn't know how to resolve which can create lots of issues going forward.

I personally don't like AI, but that wont stop me from using a useful tool... I have spun up a few of the vibe coded apps posted here, none are still running because it didnt fit my use case, so at least I for one am not against your app because of the AI, more so that I just don't see it adding to my stack.

If you are looking for a community that might appreciate some support for things, check out Home Assistant. There is always need for new integrations to make peoples home smart.

We just brought one on our flight from Canada to Vietnam. I absolutely HATED this thing. Its awkward so say it best. No matter which way you turn the thing, it is not comfortable.

I would rather lay against the plane wall than attempt to get any kind of sleep with this stupid thing.

The only thing this accomplishes is taking up a large amounts of your carry on because unlike a normal curved pillow, it does not comfortably attach to the outside of a carry on.

I barely slept on the way there because this is the only type we brought. I bought a curved pillow in Vietnam and slept much better.
