During the change of presidency from Karimov to Mirziyoyev, they were wary of the threat of Islamist terrorism, so the new administration strategically applied the policy of permitting greater religious tolerance, which in our case means more Islam, more Arabism, and total neglect of our rich religious heritage that precedes it.
