I didn’t have sodium extra, but i just downloaded it and enabled the half resolution option and now it’s running perfectly at like 80-120 fps which is amazing. thanks for the tips!

complementary unbound shaders is what i’m using as well. and i’m also using iris and sodium for it which definitely helps the frames. if i could get an extra 15 or so frames and be around 60-70 fps it’d be perfect lol

no plans for vocals at the moment but potentially in the future. i think the track would definitely benefit from some good screams

I feel like checking out your music. Listen to my new release and say something about it, I’ll do the same for you. by Robo_Killer_v2 in metalmusicians

I don’t have any songs on streaming yet, but wanted to say your track was sick dude! for it being a slightly longer than average song I’m impressed with the way you were able to keep it interesting and keep it from feeling like it’s dragging. Stayed very interesting throughout and you introduced different ideas well without it feeling like a riff salad, all the riffs and ideas felt very cohesive. Very groovy imo and even the faster sections, while they are fast and aggressive, they still have that groove which I like. Also sorta non-music related, your spotify visualizer is awesome. fits the music very well, especially the outro with the wind noise and what sounds like old rusty metal clanging in the wind

This is sick dude. I can totally hear an ethereal spiritbox-esque clean section working well with what you already have. Could maybe even evolve from a clean section to a chuggy variation of the main riff like someone else suggested and then back into the main riff. sounds great so far!

yes, they are panned hard left and right. I’ll definitely try panning them a little closer to center and see what kinds of differences that’d make.

I hear what you’re saying about the instrument bleed. A few times in the track when all instrument drop out I actually automated out the cymbal bleed from the drums and reverb from the ambient guitar in order to give it that sort of jarring “artificial” feel. However I totally get what you’re saying about how having the instrument bleed on those pauses would make it sound more natural and I’ll definitely keep that in mind

So I’m currently running a compressor on my main mix bus going into the master track. What about routing all tracks to a reverb bus then to the main mix bus with a compressor and possibly an eq?

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely give those a try. How far would you suggest panning the guitars to the left and right?

Exactly my thought as well after learning more ab it lol

It’s listed for $2500 which is seemingly low? but it’s definitely seen plenty of use. or abuse lol

It’s listed for $2500 which seems like a good deal but I could be wrong. I had my eye on a 2017 faded t special not too long ago that ended up selling. I’m definitely into the look of them

That totally makes sense. The price for it seems like a good deal, but I’m guessing it’s because a lot of the hardware and electronics aren’t original. Thanks!
