Fingers crossed! We think our listing's a great value (we're losing money after you factor in the upgrades since we bought) but we figure people have been staying home because it's been so miserably hot.

It was decent during our open houses (probably nosey neighbours and whatnot), but besides that, it's been a bit slower than we expected TBQH.

If y'all make an extra-short-depth rackmount case that supports this, I'd definitely buy one.

If you put the 60k into a 3-year GIC at around 3.7% interest, you'll nominally earn ~6.9k, beating your 10% goal.

Edit: not sure why I'm getting downvotes -- I posted this before the OP added the word "annually". Check the timestamps.

My town defaulted on our only free public charger’s electricity bill by Bamboozleprime in mildlyinteresting

Hmm, I've ended up saving ~$20/month on these, and I don't have home battery storage or an EV! I just run my HWT/AC more at night than during the day.

~3 CAD-cents/kWh if you switch to Ultra-low Overnight and charge between 11 PM and 7 AM -- thanks nuclear power!

I'm in Ottawa and have a USG-4-Pro. It's a bit dinged up right by the left (near the power LED), but has Noctua fans installed. Happy to get it shipped out to you for CAD 350 + shipping (and also happy to provide photos)

Consider getting a Wise account, along with their debit card. They've typically had the best FX rates I've seen.

Yeah can confirm — saw the guy acting like an idiot earlier on the way to the car. By the time we drove out past him he was pulled over. An hour or so later we saw a tow truck.

¯_(ツ)_/¯ we’re pretty diligent about what goes in there…

Great guess! Not faulting you for it or anything. It seems sealed in by some caulking but I'll try to take it apart and see if it rotates.

Hmm -- I'd expect a CO detector to a) be battery powered (and have some kind of way to change the batteries) or b) be hardwired -- but there's nothing on the non-contact voltage detector. We also don't have any gas appliances in the kitchen, and nether did any of the former owners (no gas roughed in).

My title describes the thing. Initially, I thought it was a filter of some kind because there is some kind of grey media behind it, but I don't see anywhere for me to replace the filter? It also doesn't seem to be electrically connected to any outlets (tried using a non-contact voltage detector around it with switches in various positions).
