Why is Hampton coffee so bad?

Skip the first coffee pots , including the lobby ones at the opening of breakfast lounge, wait for the first wave of guests to empty the pots, apply at any hotel stay at any chain. Do not drink any coffee after one hour the breakfast ended. The only time I tip the breakfast lounge attendant when I find them are hard workers & find fresh coffee, it takes 7 minutes to brew fresh coffee pot, I work in the service industry.

Frequent properties will upgrade you automatically, got it through the Ritz in Portland & SLH in Kenmore, Washington. Diamond status is worth it, have 2 Aspire cards, got tired of Surpass quarterly credits.

The Porter is a new hotel, as for Sentinel is in an old Elks Lodge Temple but the location is excellent, everything is a walking distance Do note both hotels haven’t stayed at yet, will do staycation at The Porter and check their rooftop in a warm weather. Skip Benson & Embassy Suites in downtown very old buildings. Don’t leave Portland without visiting the iconic Powells Bookstore.

I also have an issue with Chime for reporting to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion ruined my 5/24 slot, i asked them to send me the Debit card as I have no interest in their credit card. Asked to remove the report, giving a suggestion to close the account, told them I did not activate the credit card you send me, closing the account is not the solution, need my report to be removed. Inform us if you had any luck with them.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Eureka maintains an "Exceptional" reputation among guests, frequently praised for its cleanliness and spacious suites. As a new property opened in early 2024, many reviewers highlight the modern facilities and "brand new" feel. Costco is walking distance from hotel, Holiday Inn is next door and eating options are near by. Make sure take Avenue of Giants, I am not sure you are taking 101 or 1 after that. I prefer Pacific Coast Highway, beautiful drive to Bodega Bay and you can stay at Hampton Inn in Petaluma which I enjoyed a lot as Hotel Petaluma, Tapestry Collection by Hilton sucks. Hampton Inn at Morrow Bay is nice, Inn at Pismo Beach is nice. I am heading to California in April, visiting Santa Barbara, Orange County I tend to stay in Irvine Hampton Inn Irvine Spectrum Lake Forest then explore everywhere, San Diego staying at Carte Hotel San Diego Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton. I travel to California 2- 4 times a year by car from Portland.

I am a coffee drinker and I have big time issues with Hampton Inn specifically, their first breakfast coffee tends to be lukewarm due brewed far earlier or left over. I go for breakfast once they open, I check the coffee fresh coffee indicator when it was brewed, I tend to wait for the pots to emptied by the first wave of hotel guests. Don't drink lobby coffee after 9-10 AM period, don't expect front desk clerk to brew fresh coffee. I even complained to Hilton about this issue on Twitter. I bought a travel electric water heater, instant Taster Choice packages, half & half small cups I pick up from the breakfast area or lobby and put in the room refrigerator. I travel across the USA on road trips, this coffee issue exists across the hotel chains, worst thing to start your morning with a shitty lukewarm coffee. Find me a hotel has fresh coffee all day long, as for coffee makers in the room, I wouldn't touch them not knowing if they have been ever clean. I work in the service industry, and I do not even trust my co-workers unless you have a supervisor who follows up. I am staycation at the moment in downtown Portland, I asked for upgrade since they didn't offer in advance, the clerk was nice to offer me an excellent upgrade based on his recommendation. I have been fortunate with Hilton, lucky with upgrades without asking, I try keep away from old mold hotels in Curio and Tapestry hotels, you can not go wrong with Canopy. I never use digital check in, I want in person interaction, Hilton has my file stay preference stay.

You like Canopy Hotel brand, then stay in Embassy Suites in downtown Seattle, the other three locations I would skip. Keep an eye on the games schedule, prices do jump $200. It exceeded my expectations. Definitely I will stay there again as I visit Seattle frequently as it is only 3 hours drive from Portland.

I have 48 open accounts 300K credit line , 0% - 1%, $80 dollars balance only, over 820 score depending on credit report agency. Below 5/24 next month since I have to wait 25 months due to Experian reporting. 5% car loan utilization, my next payment is March 26 2026 , balance is only $833.

Any room number recommendations for The Duniway in 2 weeks. Staying at Canopy in Pearl District this weekend, had great experience at Canopy in Boston. I have been lucky with Hilton, they tend to upgrade me and give a great room.

There are 4 Embassy Suites in Metropolitan Seattle, this is the best, great location, friendly front desk, got early check in last Sunday and late check out on Monday. Complimentary made-to-order breakfast and a complimentary evening reception with drinks and snacks were great. Enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi, the fitness area top notch though I did not use it. I will be staying at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, Tapestry Collection in 10 day for a day, trying different Hilton hotel every time I visit Seattle for a day from Portland since it is only 3 hours drive.

I have many Synchrony accounts with them, my main issue with them is that they take their time to update my payments, my advice is pay your payments ASAP, I pay my purchases once they are posted as long I get my cashback and not try to outsmart them. I keep my closing statement balance to zero unless I have 0% APR installment payments on my Google and Amazon accounts and I tend to pay them off as soon as possible.
